yeah no kidding, in every parking lot the mounds are piled up like 20 ft high, and snow mounds pushed into the middle of parking lots the size of buildings. at every stop sign and driving down the road the snow is piled up higher than my gf's civic. its crazy, there running out of places to put this shit lol

So I mentioned a while ago that my 'busy' cursor (usually the windows hourglass) is an animated version of the pirate :flipoff2: guy.

I found the file if anyone wants it. Download the .zip file, expand the dancecursor.ani file, and go through control panel -> mouse -> pointers to set it.

I think this attachment thing will work...

I've seen a couple places where it is piled up so high you can't see the damn stop sign :laugh2:

"sorry officer, what stop sign?"

it is 4 feet deep under the valleys in my roof where it slides down and all piles up... and that is after it gets compacted. I've been considering digging an igloo into it and moving out of my apartment :eyes:

on a further note, amazon is overnighting me a brand new winch :thumbup:

my boss is talking to people about maybe going home early.

he told me i'm stuck here bc i have a jeep... i told him i'll stay all night as long as they pay me the OT lol

well if some of you recall i got a brand new shittybilt xrc8 comp winch for christmas. i got the thing all wired up, and couldn't get any power to it. so rather than taking the rivets out and tearing into the solenoid box, and possibly voiding any warranty, i contacted amazon and there overnighting me a new one, and also sending a UPS shipping label pre-paid so i can send the old one back.

Not a bad deal at all Ryan. Smart that you contacted them and they're taking care of you. A NIB item like that shouldn't have to be messed with.

i have the same one, has never let me down. the clutch handle even popped out because some idiot was standing on the lever. i took it apart and put a new pin in it and have not had a problem since.

Wait. You actually measure bends? In degrees, and the total bend length?

I installed mine in November 2007, and haven't removed it since. Works flawlessly.

:laugh: That was a fun day and we even got more accomplished than I hoped for.

Oh, and I think I'm gonna run a tube from the outer tube we bent through the two gussets for the UCA mount. Basically perpendicular to how you did your UCA mount, assuming it clears the ram/tie rod.

I figure it earns me some bling points if I do that.

eh, for the price of the smittybilt you really can't go wrong. i can only recall MAYBE a handful of times in the past 6 years where i could of really used a winch.. other than that some shovels, friends, and another rig have all gotten me out just fine.

i just dont see myself using it all too often to justify spending that much on a winch
