THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's possible to get past him but it's hard as hell. I can get by the first one but get caught by the second or third.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wasn't bad actually. I don't know if it'd be my first choice, but I'm not dissatisfied.

A few years ago on Pirate, some guy made a little animated version of the flipoff smiley where it waved its hands around. Then someone else took it and made an animated cursor file out of it, which I swapped in place of the 'hourglass' cursor on my work computer.

My boss thought it was pretty funny the first time he saw it.

I just looked for it again and couldn't find the thread...oh well. :(

That is awesome and I wish I had it.

Looks like I'm putting new tranny cooler lines in the 96, I could tighten the clamps on my patches down but they will just get hammered again. I'm either routing rubber hose over the pass engine mount or running it up by the dipstick tube, across the back of the motor, and along the driver side. If I find my explorer aux cooler I might just toss it in the back and run hoses to that shit, actually. I'm going wheeling tomorrow probably so I kinda need to get it done fast since the store was closed when I went to get the hose tonight...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll check on Monday and see if I can find the cursor file. Wouldn't mind putting it on my home machines too.

It's especially great when I screw up a query on our SQL server, and while it's returning every record that exists in the database, I get to sit there and watch this little shithead flipping me off.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bookend?

Maybe use it to cover up the hole in the floor from the upper link?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

calling it an early night... goal for tomorrow is to have the rear links fully in the buggy, front 3 link designed, and the motor and tranny (4.0/AW4) mocked up.

looked at used coilovers on pirate... damn expensive. my buddy needs another good snowstorm or two and this thing will be wheeling by summer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sadly enough, the coilovers are only half the battle. Springs & hardware are the fun part.

Lemme know when you're at that point and I'll get you started on the springs.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just fired up the heater in the garage im gonna let it warm up before i go out, colin maybee you should grab a kerosene heater or somthin may be better then nothin

righto chap.

i'm going to school for suspension engineering right now... hot rod sites>off road sites for info on link theory.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I made a pot of chili this morning...same recipe as before, with Bill's variation of adding some bacon to it as well.

Been cooking for about 2.5 hours now and it's coming along nicely. Just topped off the spices. It's a great feeling when you finally hit that combination that really makes it 'pop'.

Should be good by dinnertime.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I love how much shit anthony got from everyone about the heater in the garage...

Oh, and an open rear with an AT and a spanked MT brings the suck in a serious way.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

This week I need to do front and rear brakes on an Ford E250, A water pump and belt on an Altima, and front brakes on a Murano as well as a belt? My girlfriend's entire family needs me to do something to their cars.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone done front brakes on an E250 or other RWD only ford truck? The spindle nut is just a regular hex nut I think? I'm not going to need a special socket or anything right? I think the last time I did one I used a screwdriver and large channel locks to tighten it.
