im working on my jeep now. frame stiffys to be exact. and ran out of wire. so i am filling in the gaps with rtv because i am that ghetto. theres enough weld area, i just dont want wata getting trapped in thurr

Think there's a risk of it rusting through before the rest of it folds in half?

I refuse to bring my truck out in these storms unless I have to.

I'd rather not get hit by some tard who thought it was a good idea to bring his ghey little tercel out.

That's partly why I'm driving the Jeep today. I don't want the Protege getting hit by some asshat before I can have it paid off. After that, all bets are off and I'll have my fingers crossed that I get nailed in it. Tow rig, hello! Plus, if the Jeep gets bumped and "totaled" I won't be too hurt at all.

well to the untrained eye rtv looks more like weld than a gap. so it'll look less ghetto too!

I don't blame you at all.

In my case, it would just be hard to find another clean truck like mine for the price I bought it for. Laramie, NV4500/5600, QC/SB, 4x4 to be specific.

And I'd want another 2nd gen since I already have all the upgraded parts for it.

If it happened, Id wanna find an '02. Non-vacuum disco front D60, rear disc factory, and all NV5600s were HO CTDs (like 10 more HP and 50 more lb-ft of torque I think due to upgraded internals).

yeah. That's one of the reasons I took the tetanus taco to work, I almost hope some idiot totals it on my way home. I'd take the cash and spend it on the house, then throw a small lift on the 98, stick my tires on it, and wheel the shit out of it.

Set up oscilloscopes? Just hit 'auto range' and walk away.

It's not just the conference room here. You can hear anything that goes on in any adjacent office. It's a weird little unspoken thing that everybody pretends doesn't happen.

Hitting auto range doesn't help much when the probes aren't in the right places

If my tarp stayed in place and I don't have to dig 8" of snow out of the interior, I'll probably be playing around again tonight too.
