I had some dually truck following me around the cul-de-sack out behind my house. I have no idea why he was following me but after two loops and seeing more tire tracks I peaced out of there. Side note, Jeep is sooo much more fun than the honda in the snow :D

we didn't get shit for snow here again in my corner of PA.. maybe like 3 or 4 inches last night. The roads were real bad - they hadn't even plowed the highway, let alone the mountain, back roads we have to take to location. I came back to the yard around 7:30pm last night and was going to go up (further northeast by about 85 miles) but the District Manager shut down all driving for the night. I guess he doesn't want Texans in 2wd vehicles and heavy trucks sliding down a mountain carrying hazmat... oh well!

The parking lot at the yard would be SO PERFECT for doing donuts it is insane, but I'd get in a lot of trouble. Picture probably 10 acres of clean, snow covered parking lot. With no lights, poles, or anything to hit. Fawk it was tempting!
I'm taking the Jeep in today to give it a spin.

So my office is right next to the conference room, and the wall really doesn't insulate sound worth crap. There's a very uncomfortable meeting going on in there between my boss and two other guys in the shop who don't get along and have a lot of passive/agressive behavior towards each other.

Kinda distracting.

I am next to the same "uncomfortable meeting room", about once every 3 weeks some guy from the fab gets dragged in there and given the third degree by his boss. I'm certain I've heard a good number of firings at this point. Glad I have headphones.

Anyone who's been to my place will understand this... so I went there before work to make sure my roof was still on the house (it was), then drove down and out the other end of the dirt road behind my house. Well, I would have, but one of my neighbors decided the end of the road was their driveway and parked their car in it. So I had to reverse back up the hill. Made it open/open and I didn't even hit the rev limiter :(

There is about 16-17" of snow in my backyard right now. I know, because I nearly went ass over teakettle when I tripped on a completely buried 5 gallon pail (14" tall.)

I am the only person from my entire team to show up for work today. I told everyone I'd be available to set up oscilloscopes and reboot test machines and whatnot in the systems lab if needed.

I refuse to bring my truck out in these storms unless I have to.

I'd rather not get hit by some tard who thought it was a good idea to bring his ghey little tercel out.

i was supposed to wake up with 4" on the ground. there was about 14" then. since then a few more have fell.


im working on my jeep now. frame stiffys to be exact. and ran out of wire. so i am filling in the gaps with rtv because i am that ghetto. theres enough weld area, i just dont want wata getting trapped in thurr

It's not just the conference room here. You can hear anything that goes on in any adjacent office. It's a weird little unspoken thing that everybody pretends doesn't happen.
