I was rocking out to Yes, "Heart of the Sunrise" earlier tonight. Great track.

In other news, got almost all the front axle put back together in the XJ...all new kingpins, wheel bearings, etc. Added a new retaining bolt to the caliper H-block that kept disappearing. Turns out my driver side drive flange and the end of the spindle don't play well together, which f'ed up the threads right at the end of the spindle and is making it difficult to reassemble without crossthreading. Getting the proper spindle nut socket (again) tomorrow and having another go at it. Replaced the rear upper link bolts as well. Tomorrow I'll finish getting the last hub back together and maybe re-do my tie rod clamp for the ram assist with the new tube clamp I got from Ballistic. Maybe start rebuilding the rear shocks too...if not, I should be able to get them done and reinstalled by the following day.

Then at least it'll be 4wheelable. Driver side motor mount bushing is nearly gone and a bolt is broken off in the block on the passenger side, but I added an extra bolt hole on my motor mount plates so I'm not immediately worried about it. I just want to have it mobile for the next snow storm.

I love Yes... haven't listened to them much in a long time though. I got to see them in Lowell at the Tsongas Arena in May 2004, when they recorded "Songs from Tsongas". It was sooo freaking awesome. Sadly, I paid the $35 or $40 for the concert t-shirt, then ruined it a year or so later at work by dumping bleach all over myself :bawl:

But the concert was awesome, so whatever

Last night I got some stuff done on the soundsystem. Went to HD and bought a full sheet of 1/2" and 3/4" MDF. Cut up some of it and made spacers for my 8" midbasses that will go in the doors. Gonna get started on the sub box tonight.

PS: Scotty's shop is pretty awesome right now. And you should see the sport fishing boat right in front of his bay.
