THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Its not really really complicated... main roof is just a normal one, single ridgeline. A lower roof juts out from it and forms a T. So 2 valleys that come together at the peak, which is a couple feet down the middle of another face. Flashing that spot is the only thing I'm not really sure of how to do, and I haven't decided if I'm going to flash the valleys and leave them open or weave them. I have also heard of a shortcut that can be done instead of weaving but I'm not sure I want to do it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Weaving is time consuming, but probably the best way if done right. 2 people running out the main part of the shingles, and 1 working in the valley.
but, you already have water and ice down, you can run out one face, overlapping it, then doing a straight cut on the top layer from the other face right down the valley

Hey Rob, some guy called those pictures of the rock stuck under my drop brackets "crappy driving."
you did have to get winched a couple times that day, onl;y time ive been winched is when i was broken on those traild, so your driving must be crappy:D

Yeah, that's the other shortcut I heard of. Pretty sure I will go that route even though it isn't ideal, since I am likely using 30 or 50 year shingles and weaving them in this weather would be a disaster.

Does anybody have an old office chair that they don't need/want anymore? I'd prefer one with armrests that bolt to the bottom of the chair. I will pay CASH MONEY KIIIIID!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Check out these pinions that we just got in from a customer. Stock D30 3.07 gears.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Im somewhere in walpole doing a lift. I got to drive the big boom truck here all the way from almost the cape. I did pretty good, I only locked up the brakes once :gee:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The gears started to crown over toward the bearings. It's now a book end with D30 pinion #1 at the other side.
