i have the opportunity to stay in "the villa" at caesers palace in vegas. for free st pattys day weekend wednesday-sunday.

yay i actually got work done on my project jeep today since I was able to grab an ~5 hour nap at work last night. Picked up an engine hoist from tractor supply (which is 1 mile from work, on my way home... be jealous), set that up, put away tools, and started to tear it down.

I found why the throttle was sticking, and there was a very large, very densely packed mouse nest in the throttle body. There were also a shitton of acorns (like 3" deep) in the air box:

But.... I made progress!!! whoo!

mine is too, I put many bootprints in it while working on the house and nearly landed on my ass a couple times. Managed to catch my balance while carrying a circular saw in one hand and a 2x10 in the other...

This probably has something to do with the blown motor, too :roflmao:

I realized today that I had not changed the air filter in the mj in months, and it pukes oil. My gas mileage has been terrible recently so I tossed a new filter in it... and wow, the difference was noticeable. It can actually accelerate again.
