THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've been good about not spending $$ on NES lately... I wish I didn't have a strong desire to visit that forum right now... but I do...

here goes nothin! ('cept some hard earned money, most likely!)
huh?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Apply for your LTC yet?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nope, spend all my monies on x-mas junk. Got the $$ set aside now though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Your attempt at trying to throw it back at me was horrible. Jealous of what? Dude, honestly, they are vises. They are a tool you bolt down to your bench, and use and abuse, end of story. Not to break your heart or anything, and not to be mean, but no one here really cares to see pictures of vises, or hear stories of vises all the time.

Still friends?
Dude, you brought it up again. All I did was link to the thread that was about them, not post them in here. If you don't want to look at them, then don't go in the tool and garage forum. Saying a vise is just like any other tool is true. We've discussed plenty of other tools in this thread without you whining about it. So, to anyone else that read this, next time anyone has a question about any tool, Mark doesn't want it brought up.

Who said we were friends in the first place? :kissyou:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anything good to steal off a 92ish F250? I think I may have one that I can pick apart.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

is it manual?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My buddy's father tends to get manual whenever possible and I think this used to be his fathers truck, but idk for sure on that. I know it has the 5.8L engine if that could mean anything.

From what I found it seems that it likely has either a 10.25 or D60/70 rear and idk about front (was that year TTB or solid axle?) Not sure if the axles would be worth using if I could pick them up dirt cheap or free. From the sounds of it the truck is going to the JY in the next week or 2 so I wouldn't be surprised if I could take parts off it at little to no cost.

Edit: And by "axles worth using" I mean salvaging and either selling or putting in storage and slowly building over the next year or two until I decide to get rid of the D30/9" (still haven't used those much  so it will be a while... but I have the room to store them so I'm planning ahead:rolleyes:)

I believe that year could go either way on the front axle

Just ordered axle shafts, and spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what direction to go in with the 9 inch

Touche on the last part. :D

As for the first part, wrong on so many accounts. I wasn't whining about anything, I made a joke on your expense. Then explained to you that you care about vises a little too much, and don't realize that everyone else does not feel the same. Discussing tools is fine...when people actually ask for advise. I will leave you with this link, to THIS thread, where you posted many pictures.

I'm finishing off the last of my chili, which I managed to scavenge into a tupperware before the vultures consumed it all. This batch was damn good. I've dropped the hotness level since the first iteration...I should probably bring it back up so that it doesn't disappear as fast. :D

It's one thing when you show up with some chili, everyone tries it, yeah yeah it's good, thanks man. But when you see people sneaking back for 2nds and 3rds...that makes me smile. :)

Guess I'll be making more in the morning to bring to Christmas Eve dinner. I'm totally stalled on jeep projects, might as well work on something else, right?
