Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:moon: I now currently owe you a punch.

There is one close to you right? Since I can be up in that area for other reasons, I'll stop by a pepboys, but I would def not drive that distance to a part store.

Yeah, its like 15 mins away from me down rt 1. I know they have it in stock, I always see it there and look at it. The magnaflow muffler sitting next to it that I bought for red jeep still looks shiny and brand new.

Nice, I'll do that then.

Next thing, OBA.

Should I remotely mount the compressor under the hood like XJeeper did,

or do something like this? (Mounting wise, not all the plumbing and crap)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

does anybody know of anybody around here runs the new spartan lockers? Theyre supposed to be Yukon's version of the lockright I guess, but has a center springy thingy that allows for nice locker operation (smoothe/quieter like a no-slip).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:woohoo: woke up and theres a few inches out of snow out there for me. Time to fire up red jeep :D

I think I may get some 31" general grabber at2's for it, that would make it pretty nice in the snow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone have any idea what size the pinion nut is on a D70? It's bigger than anything SAE that I've got.

It's 1-5/16".

Don't bother looking at those heavy-duty/impact sets if you're hoping to get one that way. You need a thin-wall socket to fit in the yoke.

I got mine from McMaster for $13.99, part number 5545A271:

USA-made Proto.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

buy this instead:

and don't give me that it's made in China and that means it's going to explode because they won't...so shut it!
Ok, but I'll give you shit because I want 6 points :kissyou:

 muy excellente.

Edit: When did you have to work on a D70? Or is it a fairly common nut in all one-ton axles?
