My rear brakes will be way easier to service.

Slip-off rotors FTW.

I never understood why they pressed the studs through the rotor and the hub.

Have you messed with 8.8 brakes? Those e-brake shiz is friggen horrible.

I expressed my feelings with regard to the 8.8 e-brakes using only 4 letter words and as many decibels as possible while working on them. Truly terrible.

Even worse, with the adjusters all the way in, the damned e-brake shoes were still too big (on both sides, so it's not like I used two short-side pads on one side and two long-side pads on the other) for the rotor to go over. I had to grind the adjuster down a bit and bevel the edges of the shoes so the stupid thing would go together at all, I would think that I did it wrong but I tried every other way too.

If those springs had gone across the garage one more time I probably would have flung the whole mess in the trash and hoped the inspection guy wouldn't check the e-brakes.

HA!! Im looking forward to the ease of working on my 14b. No setup bearings or any of that hard junk setting up the R&P. Easy adjusting carrier thingys and removable pinion FTW.

I could see you in a leaf sprung ZJ on tons and 38" SXs.

Provided it had a 5.9/NP435 in it.
