If I heat up the shafts I have to glowing red then let them cool slowly, that should remove all heat treatment, right?

I think that's about what I paid for my Timkens on RockAuto, not sure.

Chris, I sent those measurements over to Andy on Pirate this morning. He seemed glad to have them.

Also told him about Rocktober-fest :D

Not sure what he has for plans though, but it would be cool to meet him/see his rig. Looks badass.

Or they could buy the factory original brand/supplier from me for not much more :)

Carmelo, do you have an extra front output shaft from a D20?

EB D20s have a snap-ring, and Jeeps are snap-ring-less meaning you can pull the front output apart without taking the whole t-case apart. They are interchangeable.

Can I steal one?

We already had a cool meet & greet at colin's house with town spa pizza. It was totally gay though. Like GAY. Mark showed up naked. So did Sam. So did Bump. Everyone was naked. Pizza everywhere. I don't want to talk about it. You should come next time though.

I'm remembering things I learned in college as I read up on it. To normalize it, it needs to soak for a while. You can't just heat it up and let it sit. I might try dumping it in the oven on 400* for a few hours.
