THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've heard of it done but i think on STOCK v8s. Also not offroading. AX15>dana300 till I get a t18? I have travis' old ax15. All i need is a flywheel and a cheap dana300 and a pedal.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Check out mah user title...

The ax-15 output shaft was hardened all the way through and couldn't machine it. The 231 output shaft is case hardened, so I was able to turn some of it but unable to drill out the inside... I am in contact with a vendor on pirate who has some marred shafts that have already been heat treated. I'd just file the splines back to perfect by hand and call it a day. The marred shafts are cheaper than the perfect ones by a substantial amount.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, did you get my text late on Saturday night? I saw a deuce in 'downtown' Wolfeboro.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can't go next weekend, got plans. But I'll be in your area so maybe I'll come harass you while I'm down there =D. And I think there's a DWE thing on the 10th but I gotta work. You wanna try to set something up with Travis for the 16th maybe?
Rocktoberfest?
No, from stories heard you need to wheel smarter.:gee: I did the same trails he did at FC:shhh:
This.
It isn't the size of your tire it is how to use it.
Rob is the perfect example. Keith does well too.
I wanted to see more people attempt that last hill a few of us did at WW.

Haha, if those stories were told concerning camp uj, I was already broke bad enough that I was getting towed when I decided to mess around on that ledge, I didn't really give a damn by then. If it was stories about fc, dunno, I didn't get stuck or break then :dunno:

Where you going to be? I might be down on the cape next weekend so.

Says the KING of excuses?
Exactly, the roles are reversed now.

I'm going to have to x2 this.

Didn't I tell you this on the phone way before you even opened up the D300 case?

I think the complete lack of a rear axle under my Jeep is a good excuse compared to some of your "I can't bleed my brakes" or "I think I might hear a noise" excuses.

:kissyou:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My whole front end clunks and I have to put a TB brace on before I wheel. Clunks I beleive are the lack of coil clamps, and a loose TB bracket.

Let me know when and where, I am busy till I fly to CO unfortunately but as soon as I get back, I'm game for anything you think I have a chance of getting through.

Anthony - nope, wasn't me, my junk is still not reassembled and no plates yet, havennt been able to get ahold of my insurance agent.

Bleeding brakes sucks, if your by yourself it takes almost 6 minutes. Shits rough.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A dana 300 bolts right up to a ax15 right? It's just clocked down a bit? What do i need for an input gear?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bill - yeah, you probably did.... Oh well... I'm attempting to procure one now. I'll be sure to post up when I do. I have plenty to keep busy with in the mean time though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

One more try since I forgot to put it out for garbage pickup and the dump opens after and closes before I get out of work weekdays.

FREE
(or a nice six pack donation), get it out of my sight in the next week or the garage guy picks it up.

- 39" Pitbull tire, CAN'T BE FIXED or mounted up. I have cut out the DOT stamp. Would be great for a flower planter or big kid tire swing.
- '97 Fuel pump assembly. 95K miles, worked good when I pulled it out. No plug. (Ross, come get this if you want it, or it is gone)
- Ford D60 knuckle (driver's side), cracked at upper kingpin. Good for testing out a gusset plan or maybe fixed.
- HP D60, Rev. Rotation 3.55 gears, used.
- LP D60, Std. Rotation 4.10 gears, used.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll take the 4.10s for the 60 just in case. Only if someone is in the area to pick it up or you're down in my area. Other than that eh.
