You should follow the latest NAC fad and make this your avatar

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thanks for the link, Steve. I'll be calling tomorrow for my buddy.(First one) What is it I should check for in the CPS and CKS? Should there be any resistance?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ruh roh. what'd ya do?
Eh, kinda jumped to a conclusion and may have got some hopes up that may lead to issues... though the issues were already there I just may have stoked the fire a bit. FML

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why does it have to be a 4 cyl!?!?!:flamemad: My friend wants a XJ and that would've been perfect. Maybe I can convince him tall gears and a doubler will make it better.
The friend you brought to Lobsters?
more alaska pics are up
Not gonna lie, your pics are pretty awesome
guess who just bought an LS1 to put in a jeep....THIS GUY!!!

mildly built LS and rocks...i think i like the sounds of this project

gee a SBC powered jeep, woohoo, i think theres more of those then 4.0 jeeps

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i dont see many LS1 powered jeeps. especially the possible 383 kit i may throw in it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have still been kicking around the idea of picking up a relatively rust free XJ and swapping an LS1 in with, ideally, AWD... but I wouldn't be able to do that project until I got my own place which kinda slows everything down  so i put that plan on the back burner and figure I should just shop for a running stocker.

That's going to be sweet whenever you do the swap though. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

alot of money for nothing, theres nowhere around here to use that much power unless you like to play in mud, and when i go over i can still drive my 4.0, try that with a SBC, yeah it will go boom

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I would be doing it in a street Jeep, not an offroad rig. I think it would be sweet to have in a more or less stock looking XJ or (even better) MJ.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yah dood. Gonna call/look at it tomorrow and start reading up on doublers if he gets it. This guy Ryan at Fall Crawl has a sick TJ with a 4cyl but he's running a doubler.

lol that poor jeep...

my last post was directed towards john, for a street hot rod i would so do a Mopar 340

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the 302 did wonders for my YJ, although I spent nothing on the motor, I did spend almost two grand on adapters and crap.
Looking back, I wish I kept the 6cyl and threw other parts at it instead.
