THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've got camera goodies coming tomorrow :D I think I know what's showing up for you today though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Definitely slept over one billion hours last night

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sweet now go pick up that carrier from Eric when he gets outta work.

And why the hell aren't the new leaf springs in yet.

Got school

Got no money yet

Going to eric's tonight though. Dana 60 install kit sold already but might have a line on 44 gears.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh, I have D44 setup bearings so we don't need those. We can just make some D60 ones out of your old ones (assuming we get them off in one piece)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can ask Scotty about the guy who did his. Also you should put support strips from the ring to the wheel. I saw the diff it makes. The guy was cheap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A strip of alum going from the ring down to each of the slats of the rim. Helps the ring from pushing in. One of Scottys was already. We saw it on somebody up there's rims can't remember who.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh I think I know what you're saying. Tying in the middle portion back to the center of the wheel?

EDIT: Right. I'd have to make those up, shouldn't be too hard.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

He probably means something to support the inner diameter of the rock rig to the wheel just outside of the lugs. keeps the inner circle from bowing in if contact is made.

I told you we can just use Mark's TIG on them, lets go steal it from him :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm not sure if I am right but I'm picturing extending the ribs on a turbine wheel basically.

EDIT: appears I am right, and about the fourth person to say it.

Carmelo - you know the story behind that 44 MIK? The guy bought a 44 to put in his truck and was told it had 3.55s in it, so he was going to regear it to 4.10 and bought gears and a master install kit. When he got his hands on the axle it had 4.10s in it already. I asked him and unfortunately he already sold the 4.10s.

Bump - not sure you saw this before, am I giving you this battery or trading you for another one / buying another one off you? Doesn't matter all that much to me, I just need to know so I can pick up another battery to drive home on since I'm still using it :roflmao: any chance you'll be around tonight, since I'll be in the area welding stuff with Anthony?

Also - Carmelo, I'll be in SE MA tonight if you're around to pick up the master install kit and aluminum plates. If not I can drop it with Colin another night or something.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, what time are you going to be here? I'm friggin exhausted right now. I'll be home around 6 and ready to work by 7. Want to gitrdone as fast as possible.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Agreed on that.

I'm thinking around 6-7 but I'm not sure. I'm bailing out of work at 5 sharp and hitting the highway.

I have my welder in the back of my jeep, along with everything I need, so we can probably crank em out real fast working in tandem.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm starting to have dirty ideas about this j-10

not sure how i would like wheeling a fullsize though....
