yeah, im always around. PM coming your way. i also got some small files and such that ive always had good luck with cleaning threads with.

I was able to put a non lock nut on the pinion to clean the threads enough that my lock nut is able to thread on. I'm going to finish cleaning them and then I'll put a healthy spot on the nut and red loctite to make sure it wont come off. Now it's time to get the new bearing cap bolts and put it together and back in the Jeep.

I'm sure you know this, but make sure you use a never before tightened, brand spankin' new pinion nut for the final assembly.

Yessir the one I was talking about only thread on until it get to the end where it's knurled for the locking part. And its the brandy new one from the install kit.

Long shot I know, but anyone happen to have a MJ trailer hitch for sale? My buddy is asking and before we start mocking up generic ones and trying to make them work, figured I'd try in here with you crazies.


Travis, Ross is 100% accurate on my u-joint inventory, and some 1310-1350's expected in today or tomorrow.

I have one in stock, it is sitting right between the white elephant and the rust free non disconnect d30 with factory 4.56s.

uhaul and a few other companies used to make them but stopped a while ago and sold off the last of their inventory over the last year :( I called around, believe me. I ended up picking up metal stock to build myself one.

I actually gotta call you at some point... I need motor/tranny mounts and stuff as usual.

That's what I figured...but, you never know. He is probably going to just buy one of the random new old stock ones I have for who knows what and modify it. Those are probably as rare as J-truck hitches.

Pizza rolls and burritos are in the freezer and I just made hot pockets so I had room in there, so no food on the grill.
