THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin, your cummins has a saginaw box, right? It's super easy to adjust the angular play in the shaft...

Yes and I know it is, but I have to take the box out as I also have to adjust the preload on the input bearing.

I think he added the brace to go from single to double shear on the pitman arm, right? Seems like a good idea even if it is adjustable since it takes a lot of force off the steering box.

Yep, the sector shaft bushing is known for taking a beating on these things.

The buffalo pizza I had the other night wasnt bad and Im thinking I might have it tonight, after just scrolling over 3 pages where the words were plastered all over.

You probably don't have time, but you're welcome to head over Thurs too.

Ah. sounds like you're on top of it.
I dont even know him and I know its Ryan. The "r" before weaver didnt trigger it.
I knew that...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Flyin J's in Bridgewater is the same style as the Spa's. Normally though I get it from the Midd. HofP and sometimes when really hungry I'll have them make it calzone style. Basically the guy adds somemore chicken and then folds the pizza in half. I'll also sometimes get a large order of buffalo chicken & a plain pizza and put all the chicken on top then coat with a mixture of blue cheese and red hot. Thats it Im out to go eat.

Thanks Anthony but I wouldnt know right up until Thurs. whether or not I could. We'll see.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My idler pulley in my comanche just took a dump. It's just chillin halfway off.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm a huge fan of buffalo chicken, have been for years... so anything that involves it is good. Occasionally there is blue cheese + buffalo chicken pizza at work, it sounds kinda gross but is pretty good.

UPS man needs to show the hell up and give me my box of truck parts... damnit

EDIT: Carmelo, if it's compatible with the one on an 95 XJ, I think I have one on my spare motor that you can have. It's just chillin in the back of my MJ, at least till I get it onto the motor stand and crammed into my storage unit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's different on renix. The part is $15 new and not something i'd swap out for a used one. The bearing in it just exploded so i'm not going to put another old one in and wait for it to happen again. I'm heading out the door right now to swap it out in the back of crown.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i hate driving red jeep in the rain, the axle wrap and tire slippage is yuckie. that and my windshield sucks. thankfully, i gots a new 242 with H&T waiting to go in :greensmok

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Don't you need to swap input shafts on the 242 to mate up with the AX-15? I'm sure the spline count is the same, but aren't the shafts different lengths?

Never dealt with this but thought I read it somewhere.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope, it SHOULD all be fine. the t-case and tranny are later model units so the should all match up nicely. its when you get into some of the early year units that have the different lengths and junk IIRC.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All this talk about buff chicken is making me want buff chicken fingers for dinner... that salad isn't holding me over too well.

And SWEET! Maybe a month or so ago my keys went missing at a guys house during a party... he just found them. that saves me at least $200 (possibly more)

Funny thing is that I was about to go and order a key fob and start the key replacement process for the altima tonight (and get a new gym pass tomorrow which would likely cause them to check my account and realize I'm 24+... aka cause monthly fee to double). What perfect timing

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm looking for the thread now, but there was a thread about mating a 242 to an AX-15 recently, it has been done.
