I have felt the same way all day. I was planning on getting out of here by 3:30 however I just got an email saying that we are expecting new code later this afternoon so I might get stuck here late loading code to drives so they can get in test over the wkend :doh:

Time to go find the people who sent out said email and find out if they expect me to load code tonight or if Monday is OK. *crosses fingers*

Mark - I couldn't find my supply of 2 and 4ga wire :( will look again tonight but my bet is "it's somewhere in storage."

i figured it was going to have to be a weekend. next thurs will work. i am home now. laying on the couch. want to work on stuff but not feeling up to it. sucks.

Don't go crazy about it right now. I'm sure I'll just end up ziptieing the box to the grill or something for the run. In the next couple weeks I might think about rewiring it, I'll let you know, I want to mount the box somewhere under the hood, have the wand connection in the headerpanel or somewhere else like Colin's, and I will wire in an in-cab controller.

Colin's weld, can't really see it. The undercutting is little enough that I couldn't take a pic. Therefore it's fine.

I was just told by our CA team to load the newest hardware & firmware codes to a drive and run it over the weekend... Only problem is that we aren't going to be sent the new code until this evening (CA time) or maybe not until later this weekend.

Do people even think before sending emails anymore? :doh:

OMFG I am now 100% sure our CA team either doesn't read emails or doesn't speak english.

I just sent an email to them with a log file from the serial port of one of our drives showing it power up and do some other stuff... i explicitly said that I was unable to access the drive and extract the full internal log...

...so the guy comes back with "now that you have been able to pull the log why don't you let it run for a while". :smsoap:
