The part of the hole that goes all the way through is very small...

I still think that tank is a recipe for disaster if you attempt to fix it and then fully pressurize it :gee: it's probably less than 1/16" thick across most of the bottom.

Yeah, I thought of that. If it does leak, it's not going to be catastrophic like a high pressure tank rupture would be (2ksi).

I'll give it a shot.

it SHOULD be fine if youre jsut moving it around. id hold off and look for a bigger setup, preferbly oiled too. for stuff like air grinders or sanders, itll be a little small and youll find yourself waiting for it to catch up.

I gotta say I agree. I'm not sure how big mine is but that one doesn't look too much bigger. I am always waiting for mine to catch up so I don't use my air tools nearly as often as I want to.

hmm, second thought. i dont wanna mess with a doubler, not with the crossmember/bellypan setup i got planned. it would call for a carrier bearing and a lot of floor "stuff" i dont feel like doing. i will probably still find a S10 231C for the shifter and HD chain stuff.

Two of our security guards are conferencing about one of the other guards being a complete idiot... in the hallway ten feet from my cube. I wish they would talk about something more interesting or find a conference room or something.

Dude, seriously...they probably had plenty of more interesting stuff to talk about....but us security guards run out of interesting shit about 1/8 of the way into our shifts. Give 'em some slack

that's funny, because i would hate to explode anything because that means it's a pain in the balls to get off the trail. i actually pride myself that i've always driven my rig home from the trail (sometimes with bad DW, but i drove it nonetheless)

yeah i dont know if im going to leave the pinch seam at the bottom straighten it out and weld to that and make some plug welds, and do the same to the top with plug welds and i will have some steel left over to tie into the unibody probably, i dunno ill come up with something.
