360 would be so much easier to fit...but not as cool...

And I wouldn't have to buy a new bellhousing for the NP435.

would you be able to use your current transmission?

If I use a Mopar engine, I can't use my NP435 no matter what.

But I can just source an NP435 and use all stock parts minus my slave setup. I don't have to buy or try to find the bellhousing.

hmmm.... here's the thing: i need link material and cage material. i'm not quite ready to buy either, so i think i'll pass for this round. besides, when it comes time for me to do an order i'll probably need enough stuff that it will be worthwhile for me to do my own order.

Forgot about this. Guy stuffed a 502 Chevy big block in his XJ on 40s.

i thought i showed you that at crown before? it sits lower then a regular xj w/ 4.5" lift and 33's.

Yeah I remember seeing it at home when the issue first came out as well.

I just have to assemble one and put it in a rough area to see if it's plausible and stop getting anxious right now.
