It'll be about a 9-hour, 550 mile trip down, and a 10 to 11 hour trip back assuming it doesn't break down. If it breaks down, things get REALLY interesting.

And my 9" 3rd is in, just gotta install the shafts and fill'er up. Side note, my bro got some sweet tea vodka or something (called firefly IIRC). I thought it sounded horrible and I'm not much of a vodka fan anyway.. But GOD DAMN it makes one hell of an iced tea

Yeah I'm gonna look into temp plates, if I can't set it up that way I'll see if my brother can get temps for it in NH. I'm not quite insane enough to drive a cop magnet like that 10 hours without it being legal.

I already know where it's getting parked, soon as it's registered etc it won't be towed from a lot near where I live atm.

what exactly makes it the king of all benders? I spend a lot of time in lisbon. Maybe i'll throw ya some cash for a die. i need to rebuild my tire carrier out of something that will enable me to back into boulders

in other news, i finally finished configuring and installing everything i need on my new linux computer for work.

I got the entire rear axle back together surprisingly easily, I expected the brakes to put up more of a fight like they did when I first installed them :thumbup: now I gotta clean up, grill up some sausages for dinner, and do some laundry before picking the fam up in a couple hours. And the only reason I come in is to grab a glass of water, so I post quickly while drinking said water.

Going to look at getting a new phone finally after several years. Maybe the HTC EVO 4G.

I have been looking at that one myself, but have stayed away until the new android OS is available for it. I heard the battery life is still sub par and I am kinda hoping Android 2.2 fixes some of the batt life issues... and the fact you have to pay an extra $10 per month for the "premium data plan" kinda sucks; esp since we don't even have 4G service anywhere around here at least until they release 4G in boston late this year or next year IIRC (and even then we would only get 4G while in Boston). So yeah, haven't made the upgrade yet.. and at the same time I am kinda hoping the insurance company will start replacing my current phone with the EVO pretty soon... if they do that I could upgrade to the EVO for $50 by conveniently losing my phone and not have to renew my contract either.

Absolutely Brown Dog. They have the best customer service I've dealt with. I've spoken with both the head engineer Tim, and Karol a ton. They are very nice and more than willing to do anything to help you out. I was one of the few people to have a little issue with one of my bushings, and just dropped them a PM about it, and they automatically sent me a pair of new bushings. Issue has been resolved.

I decided on the natural rubber, I think they are a little more at roughly $100.
