Edit: I just noticed that a bunch of the timestamps for this thread puts some of you posting in the middle of the day yesterday and today. Why would you be in front of your computer on the weekend? Some ya'll need to get outside.

It rained balls for 2 hours yesterday. You have a garage. Unless you want me to show up and park my junk in it for a while, can it :spin1:

(I actually was working on the jeep for part of that rainstorm... then I said screw it, enough is enough, and waited till it stopped raining)

Two things I realized the other day:

1. I actually miss stock axles because you cant just grab shafts from JY when you have custom axles. I just picked up shafts I had made at Mitchell's for "spares".

2. I just spent a lot of money in the last 3 weeks, so if I dont wheel soon I'm gonna lose it.

That is the reason I will always aim to have each side of any axle I have be stock length on SOMETHING, if only so that I can go on rockauto and order a "stock" shaft for that vehicle. Not as good as junkyard pricing but at least it isn't custom shaft pricing... where you get the shaft in two different ways.

Hey now, the idea to sink it in was mine, granted I had to be talked into putting it behind the crossmember, but whatever.
Oh, and the steel was produced in Canada so you get no credit.

Forecast for Worcester is clear through Thursday, and I tested out my welder theory. Looks like the 96 is getting new floors this week.

I actually get a good price from Dan at Mitchell's but the 9" front is slightly diff.

Oh and I post from my iPod half the time so I'm not inside. Hell I have it with me at the garage just to check stuff sometimes.

we were sitting in traffic in the middle of NYC on the highway, so i just popped the hood and adam jumped out and grabbed then. Only lost two spots on the road :greensmok

Yeah... my blackberry is a turd and pisses me off like nothing else, but I generally use it while I'm under/in the jeep working on it.

My cell isn't too bad for posting/browsing though I wish the screen was more scratch resistant; the screen protector is working pretty good this time though, hasn't started to fall off yet. I made a post or two from my cell over the wkend while I was A) in the garage, B) laying by the pool, or C) sitting/laying around on the screen porch enjoying the thunder storm. I took an awesome nap on sat afternoon on the porch during the rain storm. I just wish it would have rained all night... I would have been sleeping on the porch in a heartbeat.

And I was just thinking the same Monday thing yet at the same time I can't complain since I have wed/thurs off :thumbup:

this weekend im gonna pull the frt spacers and lift shocks from the dd, and just toss in some stock shocks, im sick of it, then ill start lookin for a beater

this is the first time I've been signed on since Friday. Saturday and Sunday I was outsideeeeeeee. :thumbup:

Yeah when we got to her uncles house it rained good for about half an hour at one point, probably the same wave of rain. I heard the rest of the show went really well, thats good. Next year we'll be staying the whole show. I wasn't happy to have to leave early hah

FINALLY got around to installing my SYE this weekend...... Like driving a brand new XJ :- )

Anyone got a set of control arms for 0-3" of lift that they want to part with?

Would prefer adjustables that'll fit anything in that range.

My saturday, I was outside setting up tents, cruising in my Jeep, cooking food on the grill, shooting guns, and sitting by the lake, all with Mia. I wish it could be my day every day haha.
