Anthony, I print this and bring it to TFT and I get em for 85/ea? Seems like a decent tire but wtf do I know

Hankook has a $50 mail-in rebate on those tires currently, so if I got them for 85/ea, after getting the rebate it'd be about $290 for a set of 4. sounds pretty good to me.

they might give you a hard time about the tires needing to be mounted and balanced, but yeah that's basically how it works.

yeah, mounting and balancing i dont mind paying a bit more for, that's ok. works for me. Hopefully I can do this thursday morning depending on how much I end up getting paid... Speaking of which, I'll call them tomorrow and see if they can have them in stock by then.

Bottom two nuts were loose on the track bar bracket.
Tightened+test driven.All set! :yelclap:

Oh, and I just got in my Jeep for lunch (which made it to Boston by the way, yay) and the bolt holding the heim onto the t-case lever fell off :gee:

Jon, I forgot that you had a manual transmission when I picked up the driveshaft from you, its a hair bit too long.

yea it did that to me a few times...i never got around to loctiting it in there tho. ah, that sux. are you gonna have it shortened?

the linkage for my atlas also needs loctite or some jamb nuts. it keeps falling off for the front output

genuis PO decided it was a good idea to weld a peice of rod for the rear output...so cable shifters here i come

Colin, I talked to Rick and he said to just take it thru the premium car wash and vacuum the interior myself and save the $. Fine by me :laugh:

I actually just googled and d70 fronts are available, according to internets.

Pretty rare and nearly equaled in strength by 60s though.

Emphasis on nearly.

Stock front D70s have MUCH beefier knuckles as well as stock 35-spline outers.
