how much is it to just camp? is there a fee to walk around the park?
edit; if i crash in your tent(no homo) we split the cost or is there a general fee per body/entry?

IIRC, the special rates were $10/person/night.
You'd probably have to pay the passenger's fees which are $7/day after membership.

I never committed to going down though I posted that I planned on it and couldn't wait quite a few times... then this wrench got thrown in the gears. I was gonna show up even if it was in an Altima or on 2 wheels though I planned on pushing my Jeep down. Still going to try and get recovery points sorted out this wkend incase some stroke of luck happens and the grad party gets pushed out... which in turn means I won't be wheeling/camping this wkend since I will be making recovery points :doh: I gotta stop dragging my feet but lately I have been fixing/riding the motorcycle and drinking beer (at the bar with brother/friends who just got back from college) rather than giving the Jeep attention.

I have no idea on camping fees etc BUT any of you are welcome (Steve and Jay especially, since they specifically asked.) I have a 5 person tent (with no homo, which would be preferred, it's more like a 3-4 person tent) and will be setting up a 10 by 20 foot tarp if there are enough trees to do so. I also intend to bring a significant quantity of alcohol, food, and spare parts... by significant, I mean I'm putting things in the back of the MJ until it is full. Then I'm adding more things and tying them down.

I started off saying that I wasn't going, then said I took time off for it, never said "Hey guys, I'm going to NACFest," and it was all in one spot, the "To Do List" thread.

My rig is driving around under it's own power, registered, insured, and inspected. I could wheel it tomorrow if those little things called recovery points weren't required. I am at 300 miles of gear break in so I could def say "good enough for gov't work" and change out the oil and call it a day.

Though I'm not really giving you shit at all :laugh: You may be very accurate that yours will be done before I decide what parts to install where (or what to buy for my next car for that matter...). Your rig is on it's way to bigger and better things... but mine is moving and I bet that I will be wheeling [again] before you. .!..!.
