Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wtf, so apparently the battery on my bike has enough juice to turn it over but not enough to turn it over and fire it up. Bike started fine as soon as I hooked it up and jumped it from my car. Never had that happen before.

And I found that the local shop actually has a pretty damn good price on the battery so I will be picking one up tomorrow I think.

Edit: Does anyone know what size hex socket thing is needed for the ruffstuff diff cover fill plug? looks to be about a 9mm but I'm not particularly sure

yeah I found that out and could have sworn I deleted that question. Thanks though

Edit: Apparently my computer decided to double post and I deleted the question from the 2nd post but missed the first :laugh3: ok, makes a bit more sense now. I'm not losing my mind.

Idk how I lived without a welder. As expected I couldn't find anyone with a 9/16 allen key or hex socket doohickey (awesome note: doohickey is in the firefox spellcheck dictionary, but I digress) so I went to home depot and picked up a 9/16 nut/bolt and welded them together. My father heard that I did that and it seemed like he thought it was the most brilliant thing ever... It seemed like common sense to me :dunno: Guess Jeeps/mechanics makes you think differently

electrical gremlins. exact problem TBA

Good luck man, hopefully something simple.

I am starting to think I should drive around in the woods behind my house before I hit a trail. I have a strange feeling I might have a few gremlins left hiding.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone whose been in junkyards lately have you seen any jeep liberties?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Figured out what I've been bottoming out on when driving around after taking out the 7.5 coils and putting the 4.5 back in.

This is at full lock, at ride hight.

I remember one time moving the axle back a lot, but I'm just trying to remember why that was?

Doesn't matter, didn't get everything done to get it driving again. I must have thrown away the clips for the front brake pads when I cleaned up a couple weeks ago, and the parts stores were already closed. Good news is I have only a few more things to get it drivable *not wheelable*

Carmelo there are a bunch of torn up ones at sams. What do you need?

Holy shit that concert got SO MUCH BETTER after fear factory showed up.

Time to pass out so I can hit the yard early
The last few shows I went to at the palladium were like that.
not like last year. I took a couple of friends to their first concert, took them to see GWAR at the palladium with the red chord and job for a cowboy opening. I was nice enough to start them off in the center of the pit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Funniest thing just happened. I had to do a trail repair on the street, and got to drive home in front wheel drive. I had just finished aiming my headlights and figured id go out and test them. And of course working on the jeep requires beer. So of course I did something stupid. I decided to have some fun and do a neutral drop. Then bang lots of explosion sounds. My first thought was, im swapping in new Tcase parts tonight. Nope. Ripped the straps right off the rear yoke. Im upgrading to a ubolt yoke. Pulling off the cover to take a peak inside while im there. Is the 8.25 a spacer or crush sleeve axle?

An inside door handle from one. I'm assuming the LF is the same as the LF on the commander. Apparently they are the same size and style except the can be removed from the panel unlike my mom's commander. So I can glue it on my moms panel and save $500.
