sounds like you need some safety GOOGLES, and maybe a full face shield over that

Brilliant. I was just pouring myself a soco and mentally bitching about how hot my room is (trying to decide if I should keep the window shut and let AC try and cool the room or open the window with a fan to circulate air)... then I realized there is a pool not far from me. Couple more drinks and I might just have to go for a swim.

Plus it's extra convenient because I was doing laundry earlier when I got back from the gym and took a shower so I just threw my swim suit on since that was the only pair of shorts I had (my swim suit is essentially just a pair of shorts, none of that netting shit). :D

So I went yesterday to pick up a tailgate from a guy for Ford. When I get there I see a black Ford with a grey tailgate and Im there to pick up a black tailgate. My first thought it this tailgate is going to be XXXXed and it was. How do sell something that smashed in, that you personally replaced and expect someone to want it. I ended up giving him $20 for it seeing as I was already there and I really only need the latch and bottom bracket. I want to strip the thing and then toss it on his front lawnm when Im done seeing as how his dad really wanted it out of the garage. End of rant for the day, carry on.

I need a nice camera. I think that as soon as I buy another Jeep or CTD I am going to buy a camera with the $$ I make from selling the car. I.e. if I can sell the car for $800 more than I owe I will give myself $800 to play with for a camera (even though I will prolly still shop around for the cheapest one I can find, probably keep looking for a Rebel.)


And yes I have narrowed my decision down to a Jeep (XJ, MJ, or maybe TJ if the price is right) or CTD. After driving the Jeep around today I think I decided a car is overrated..

I know, just making sure it was out there. :thumbup::laugh:

Thought I am 90% sure I am getting another Jeep and 9.5% sure I am getting a CTD.

Long story short right now I am determined to get something I can buy straight up, no loan. Idc if I have to drain my savings... just dont want a loan. Chances are I will get an XJ but I am looking for another 2 dr 5 speed which are hard to come by. I am calling on a '97 with 180k mikes tomorrow and if I can pick it up for $2k cash I think I might buy it as it's not too rusty. However if I happen to find a 97/98 CTD in the $10k or less range before I find a Jeep I will prolly buy that. I still want Ross's red Jeep... that exactly what I am looking for (though I could deal with a newer one since I don't mind passing emissions, but his is my ideal XJ I think)

Ryan - ok, plan on tuesday, hope I can find my dmm by then.

Bump + I hate it when people do that, like listing it inaccurately is gonna fool someone into paying an inflated price after they see it. People should stop wasting everyone else's time and list known defects when trying to sell something. I rarely bother with craigslist anymore for this reason.

Also, I should note that phone typing sucks.

Relating to an earlier discussion, I was asked for my number by a girl when I looked over at a stop light - driving my beat mj, dirty as hell, looking rather disreputable on my way to the junkyard. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign.

Phone typing only sucks if you have a shitty phone. Typing on my phone is quite awesome.

Did you give her your number? Did she call it? Was she good looking? All important questions.

Jeeps suck, chrysler sucks even more. My mom's door handle(interior) broke and the dealership wants to replace the entire door panel or something like that for $600. I can't find the dumb part online.
