I know it isn't stock, so what is the width, shank (if it has one) and bolt size.

You'll need to pull the bushing out then and measure the ID of the welded sleeve unless you want to risk getting the wrong one.

in all honesty, I see where you're coming from, but you're also WAY more detail oriented than I am, and shit that would bug you wouldn't bother me in the least. So take that into account when making your estimates/evaluations

EDIT: as far as "risking it" ...how many options are there? if there's only 2 "styles" or whatever, then I'll just order both and return one or something :dunno:

for the record, i said the same thing, just not with quite as much reasoning

and eric - why order summit machine through poly perf when you can call summit directly and get the best customer service ever?

Tis true. I always just liked supporting Poly perf so I never really thought about ordering directly.

Anyone ever heard of Tuff stuff winches? I just got an email from amazon with a bunch of winches and I think it was listed (either that or there was a link to this one on one of the other pages I visited). http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001BFKPAS/ref=pe_56740_15398220_pe_vfe_t6

Cheap, so I assume it must be complete crap, unless it may be like one of those cheap ass winches that holds up OK... :dunno: I mean it has a picture of a Jeep... must mean quality, right? :D

Edit: And yes I know I could get an XRC8 for the same price, but 12.5 > 8 :laugh3:

Edit2: Did some more digging/searching, I'll just go with the smittybuilt if I am going to go for something that cheap

eric, i've never dealt with them so i wouldn't know.

scott, that thing might very well be capable of pulling 12.5k lbs, but it will come at a rate of 0.5 ft / min i bet :laugh3:

Did you read my response to your text? Mine was due to Scott Hatch not being able to type, dickbag. My "r"s look nothing like "t"s. However, they're right next to each other on a keyboard....With the size of those fingers I'm not at all surprised he screwed up while typing. I'm not holding it against him...just sayin'
