Hmmm, I just found a supposedly real clean (clean interior, no rust, straight body) '92 MJ, 2WD, 4.0, 5-speed down in TX for 3k OBO. Trying to get my buddy to look into it and if it is real clean, get him to buy it and DD it until he comes back up here, at which time I could buy it off him.

I might be... well road tripping back.

That was my other option/thought. Have my friend buy it for me, then I fly down and me and him road trip back from TX over a 3 day long wkend.

Only problem with that is I need him to look into the MJ for me and make sure it's as nice as it sounds... and he is spending all his time car shopping for himself cause he needs something for himself ASAP. If he finds/buys something for himself soon then he can look for me but until then I have to convince him he wants an MJ. Would be awesome to get a clean OBDI MJ up here. It's painted purple but that can be fixed :laugh:

Don't buy arms until you get an idea of the steering mockup that way you can get arms with the correct kingpin center to steering hole mount distance.

good point, one issue i may run into is i wont beable to do hydro assist before fc i hope it dont bite me in the end

So I just got bitched out for wanting to buy those tools but told it sounds like a good price and if it's useful stuff I should do it.

And bitched to about how much money I am spending on the Jeep but told that it's a great hobby and that they (they parents) are sure I am learning alot and they would rather me do that than sit around doing nothing.

And bitched out about the tires I have in the yard, then bitched out again when I said I might sell some of the tires to get them out of the yard

And that was just the start of the mess of a conversation that I just went through :doh:

Guess who just did a wj booster swap?

Guess who did an awesome job of using the stock flex-section mc-prop valve lines?

Guess who is a goddamn moron and forgot to bleed the mc before installation?

:banghead: guess I'm driving the xj to work tomorrow and pulling the mc to bleed it tomorrow night.
