THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why would it be a problem if the people who owned the house had the automatic weapons,

it isn't a problem, that's what I was saying...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you can find a duplex with built in garages underneath it somewhere within sane range of your job (which implies within sane range of mine) for like... 120k or less, I will buy half of it, cash, if you buy the other half. I don't really care how big the lot is as long as there is no homeowner's association involved to tell me to stop playing with jet engines and jeeps and ham radio.

EDIT: note that I said cash, that means if you can find it for 120k or less don't worry about a down payment

I won't be moving out of my house for probably another 2-3 years.

I have 0 money saved up for a house right now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

damnit start saving then! :twak:

:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You write a novel and can't read my two sentences?
I said the people WHO BROKE INTO THE HOUSE had automatic weapons.
Do I suck at writing today or something?

I actually started typing that up earlier and then walked away, then came back, finished it off and clicked post. Alot happened between when I started and came back  :D

At my next paycheck I will be at 10k saved up (or maybe a bit less now that I think about it, next paycheck comes shortly before monthly bills). I gotta find somewhere cheap damnit. I really want to move out.

Though you bring up a good point, a duplex with someone you know wouldn't be bad. I have been worrying about sh*tty neighbors so far. :laugh3: Ken, find a duplex. I'll hop on board with that :D And probably piss you off

On that thought, weren't you just talking about getting a loan and wishing you could come up with more $$...Where the hell did you suddenly come up with $60k cash?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I robbed a bank and won the lottery.

Anyone even joking about living near me should realize that when left to my own devices, I tend to do stupid things like erect 30 foot antenna towers in yards, leave junky looking vehicles parked outside, and use angle grinders and other loud machine tools up until about midnight on weekdays and well past that on weekends. I leave transmissions in the living room or on my porch for months on end. I am not really what one would consider an ideal neighbor unless you're also a bachelor gearhead... hm, wait, this is NAXJA.

Also, forget about property values till after I leave...

You mind assisting me in bank robbery? Or luck with the lottery? I need cash money. Though if I had it I would probably spend half of it on the Jeep (I already had 10k saved up in January... then started buying stuff for the Jeep and gearing axles and such... whoops)

Anyway, yeah, my problem is that I try and do that stuff but then get told to sell stuff (and I just end up hiding it in the woods or something).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

-new gps mount arrived (i dropped the old one out of my pocket 2 weeks ago on my motorcycle): it fits the gps
-new lug nuts came (link): they fit the axles and are awesome construction.
-new sidi vertigo riding boots came: they're too big :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I never have that problem... size 14 feet, my boots come with oars and lifeboats.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I lifted Maegen's jeep yesterday 3 inches using coils off Rob's old XJ, free teraflex control arms, Rancho shocks, an RE 1600 track bar, and a bastard pack made from Chevy Colorado leafs. The wheels and tires are stock Rubicon takeoffs.
