the swap meet is may 15/16th, i score my 60/10.25 there for $300 :greensmok

See I want more details like location and such. FWIW I can probably (easily) negotiate a suburban and trailer so if there is large sh*t to be moved it can def be done easily. And I am willing to deliver for cost of (round trip) gas if it's far. If it's down the road (aka within 15 min drive) delivery costs a beer or 2.

I took it for the first ride to break in the brakes, and the SUUUCKed. It felt as if I was driving my dad's expedition again before he had the brakes fixed, slam on the pedal and it takes its sweet time to stop. 2nd time out they felt much better, pedal still is a little soft at the beginning of its stroke.

If you happen to need a hand with anything let me know, 781-608-3555. I got nothing going on tomorrow other than dropping off a box truck with my father in the AM and then maybe hitting up the JY to pull hubs/shafts if they are cheap enough... unless I find a 1/2" chuck tap wrench, then I might work on my steering, but from what I have found so far that is not likely to happen.

yeah. nothing personal. and like i said, i haven't ruled it out. it's mostly the fact that i know that the front end is totally apart and if something went wrong with you driving it i'd feel bad. and the reason sunday is a no go is that i'm going to NH on fri... i might just take 2 wheels, if it comes down to it. i also want to be there for the alignment and for the shifting of the subframe.

Sure, the rear will be easy. Shifting the subframe sounds sketchy. Know how it's usually done? I'll talk to Adam but don't know if that's something he does there either.

I wanted them to wrap around the front but I guess it doesnt really matter. Ima check out the black pipe tomorrow at Home depot and ask my Dad if they have any scrape tubing at the shop I can snag.

Make sure the pipe at HD is at least stamped with ASTM or whatever that is. I think it's usually A53 schedule 40 people use. Local steel places will be able to get you some too.
