THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

FWIW I have zero "respect" for that douche. And there aren't many people I feel that way about. That is all.

Should I be worried about picking up axles from him?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I remember you telling me that when I was supposed to pick something up from him...

what ended up happening with that? did you get whatever it was or did he try to screw you or did you just say nevermind i'll find something else?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i hate Easton gas...that is all.

Nah I never followed up with it. I think he had spare waggy shafts but wasn't sure if they would work for me (70s vs 80s).

i bet Ken can't post on every single tread on this forum in a 24 hour span.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yah, they took my money and said that i need to lower it 4". So i put stock tires on my jeep and they say it's still 2" too tall. So now i have a rejection sticker and i'm $29 poorer with nothing to show for it. What a bunch of butt plugs.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Time to break out the 215/60/15s.
I've got a single 195/??-R15 donut. I'm sure you can come up with 3 more for cheap.

Edit: Here you do Adam. There are even a "ALL SEASON" so you know they are super great offroad, plus with them being R15s so you can clear your brakes.
After the $60 MIR there only $200!
"Performance" All-Season Tires for Adam

A-damn, why don't you go to the guy near my work that Ross' old job used for stickers? He's supposedly pretty lenient. Otherwise, there's always the place my other buddy uses that he shows up with a 30 rack & the cash, and always passes.

I'm pretty sure the wheels on my altima have the same lug pattern... those fawkers are pretty small and IIRC it's a 16" wheel... If you have jackstands for the altima I could drive up and lend them for a couple hours if they fit.

edit: my altima tires are right around 26x8.5x16

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm considering getting a RigidCo rear tire carrier, and using the material I already have to rebuild a front bumper. I spoke with Terry for about 1/2 hour on the phone today about bumpers. (I even found out that the bumper I wanted was illegal. Stupid DOT not allowing tire carriers to hinge on the drivers side)

It will be a major hit to the bank account, but I really don't have as much time to build stuff as I would like.

Should be cool I guess.

Why'd you buy a TIG then...?

If AJ didn't take so long I'd say get this

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I bought a welder because I will use it, I plan on using it, but I just don't have the time for a lot of it right now.

IMO, I don't think that AJ's bumper looks nearly as good as the RigidCo one. Have you seen the mounting system for the rear RigidCo?
