He probably had a shop do all the work and that's where the 12k came into play. It was probably only like 2500 in parts and a shop decided to butt rape him for being a tard.

So after shopping CL for a while I made several observations. Finding a 98+ 2 dr XJ with 5 speed is hard. (I knew this already). My new observation is that every 2 dr 5 speed 98+ XJ that IS for sale is lifted and shit. (I want stock or VERY lightly modified)

Actually looks kinda clean. Sell off those wheels and get rid of the yellow brakes it might actually be pretty decent. Though I am still holding out for a 2 dr.

The remaining 4 pages are gonna have to wait till I'm at a real computer.

Colin - do it, you know you want to, it sounds like the config rom is just a stupid 28f or 24c series eeprom from what carmelo is saying, give me data files and I can burn those pretty easily

Spent yesterday morning at the jy, pulled a diff cover for my new mj 8.25, a bunch of heavy wire and 175a fuses+holders for redoing my power wiring and maybe rigging that winch (better than nothing but clearly not enough for actual recovery usage), and some other random junk. Spent all afternoon and evening helping move and reorganizing... Today picked up the 2.slow from Colin (thanks!) Checked out the massive epic car collection and the mj work progress. Already split the tranny off the 4cyl, I can't decide if I'm gonna keep it and use it to run the air raid siren I have, or put it on here for free in case someone needs one

Meh I don't know if I feel like dropping the 440 into the MJ.

4.0 is just so much easier.

I can throw a 440 into the duster and enjoy that faster.

Doesn't make sense in the MJ.
