I need to motivate myself to take the bike out tomorrow morning and ride to work... I doubt I will though cause I still haven't done an oil change so the oil is too heavy for the temp and needs to warm up for like 10 min. I always rush myself first thing in the AM. Though I hope to be buying a set of Elite 3's this wkend :thumbup: I need to swap them out soon, fronts def lookin a bit dry.

And I have come to the consensus that I"m just going to scrap the ARB-modified-hacked-up-front-bumper idea and just use what I have and start from scratch.

I like the Moab 4x4 Outpost bumper.

I'm fairly certain the ARB grillgaurd section will live on.

Yeah, that front is slick esp with the skid. Their rear is pretty nice lookin' too, but pricey for what it is IMHO.

Time to be the man and step up my game! i was talking with Dundy the other day and we both agreed i should just STFU and buy some big boy tires. So i pulled the trigger and bought some sweet new meats for black jeeps build to be based on now. party1: Unfortunately, with this new decision im gunna have be commited to chromo shafts, at least up front to begin with. Im gunna order Ten Factory shafts 35 spline inners & outers for the 60. ill see how the stock 14b shafts hold up, but time may call for some double splined 300M stuff :greensmok

today at work i basicly got my ass chewed out by my manager for not doin such a great job sun, well it wasnt my fault we had peaple out and she didnt do shit to get replacements and also the crew on sunday sucks, so this sunday im gonna let her know what i think about her

MW2 is awesome. I'm currently trying to purchase Battlefield Bad Company 2 on ebay. Heard that is supposed to be amazing.

they are completely different games though I refuse to buy MW2 (I play games on the PC more frequently than xbox and MW2 kindof screwed the PC crowd over a bit, but I digress). I did play MW2 a bit here and there, so I know what it's like.

MW2 is more of a "every man for himself" type of game, you got teams and such but there isn't much emphasis on team play. bad company 2 is awesome, I have it for PC and as soon as people I Know get it for Xbox I will get it there too. I have target gift cards that I need to spend ($60 worth) and I think I will use those. The game is MUCH more team oriented. You have to work to heal your squad or drop ammo boxes for them depending on your specialty. I love the game. I am pissed though my PC save game file corrupted and I lost all my single player progress. I am reinstalling right now (after backing up save games) hoping that somehow that will fix my issues.. we will see. The single player is pretty damn good but the online is what is awesome.

I have seen quite a few people show up thinking BC2 will be like MW2 and they suck at the game and bitch and moan a lot. In BC2 you have to lead your shots, bullets take time to travel and drop due to gravity, you gotta work with a sqaud (if you run in solo you may just get laid out quite easy by the enemy who is working together with a machine gunner supported by assault and med kits who are all covered by a sniper, or run into a tank that is supported by an engineer plus ground assault). Some people seem unable to adapt to the team and physics mentality and just bitch about it, it amuses me.

Ya, that thing got the crap kicked out of it that weekend.

As you can see from the picture above and this one, the holes for the mounts were pretty messed up.

The bumper mount also looked like this. Remember, you did go diving for cover at the snow run last year because you heard the thing tweak.

This crazy person

tortured the bumper, while Adam held it down for him.

I cut the holes as I was originally going to recess some lights in there

Could have at least put a non-worn cutoff wheel on there for that pic.... That ruins it for me.

Edit: And thinking of which I need a new angle grinder kindof maybe. I dropped mine while doing my floor pans months back and the handle shattered. Part of me is tempted to make a handle out of a 8.25 pinion. It's a cheap ass black & decker from wally world so idc that it broke. I beat the living hell out of the thing for 3-4 years and it's still going strong. I just hate getting rid of a functional tool because a cheap plastic handle thing broke :laugh: Esp when it's a tool that took the beating quite well and hasn't given me any problems yet. I'm thinking that I should pull the pinion and weld on an applicable bolt. Then cover any non-smooth portions of said pinion with a coat of epoxy and make everything smooth. Am I right that epoxy dries clear?

cant go wrong with the flamer..

so got my front end out tonight, new ones ready to go in just gotta open the pitman arm up to 3/4, and starting out with a 3/4 bit does not help. so up early tomorrow to start it off with a smaller bit and hopefully get it done by the time i have work at 11AM
