THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I saw both of them, the first one I read 208k and hit the back button. The second I saw it was camo so I figured the person was probably a meat head and beat the snot out of it in the woods. Not a DD for me.
duuuude! that second one has the ultra rare V6, very very rare in a 1990! GRAB IT! :roflmao:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i havent been on here since early saturday

it feels weird

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Looks like it's been in a front end collision from the 3 tone paint job, but I agree, grab it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

x3, that one looks pretty nice as long as the unibody is straight.

So if I call about the XJ that I want to buy tonight, is anyone up near peabody MA who would care to take a look at it for me? It would be quite a hike for me to get up there an look at it myself so if someone has some spare time to check it out I would be forever grateful (as long as you don't go and buy it before I do! :laugh3:)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

today has been disheartening at work. i made a new FEA model that ran over the weekend, was supposed to be nice and fast and give me great results. it's slow and it's results are wrong :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I hate it when that happens.

I'm glad this lousy weather waited till monday/tuesday though. Whole weekend was great, got a ton of stuff done, and now that I'm back in the office and pulling silly long hours for a few more days it's lousy out again... but should be nice by the end of the week when I'm getting out at a normal time.

EDIT: haha, humidity is 255% at Rausch Creek right now it seems :dunno:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

talk about "at work".... I want a new job entirely. haha

Pirateflagonjeep.jpg

my pirate flag attached to cb antenna temp till i get around to mounting 3/4 metal conduit pole to bumper..(when ever that happens..)
Oh and notice anything missing..removed the rack(less weight and wasn't really useing it anyway) and lowered antenna (better reception)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think on the first on it looks like someone beat it silly, drove it hard and put it away wet...
and the second...
and i dont know why, but i kinda like the way it looks.

heres a gem!!!
http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1636267270.html
just what im looking for!!!!

Just remember when looking at that one that it quite possibly was in a frontend collision so look at the front rails behind the bumper for damage. Also he says it has a new radiator which would go along with the collision but if it ran out of coolant there's the cause of your engine problems, which could be numerous. Just food for thought.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Work for me was fun. Probably leaving here in about another 30 minutes.

Hung out in a HMMWV all day.

Things are dogs though, gearing blows.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yea but theyre pretty hard to kill and i dont own them so i can beat the balls off of it and not care.

they will pull a freakin house down tho. oodles of torque

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i feel like crap but im pumped to be starting my new job tomorrow.

my fears were confirmed, Ten Factory shafts cant be narrowed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

why not? heat treated / surface hardened and it would reduce strength too much?

EDIT: I think I just figured out why two of my tests weren't working. I was fiddling with one bit too few... literally a 1 instead of a 0 in one place may fix my test. Oops :looser: I guess I'll find out in 5 hours if I was right or not.

nothing with the materials or conditions, just the major and minor diameters are wrong and wont work and they use a raised area just inside the splines for the inner axle seal.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ah. I figured that was too simple an answer so it must be wrong :dunce:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So now that I am home from work I really don't want to start working on my tracker/spreadsheet for tomorrow's meeting. Maybe I will wait till after I get some food in me.

On that note, I am currently waiting for a call back on the Jeep... hopefully get a call sooner than later... I was asked if I could be called right back 10 minutes ago. By my definition "right back" is within 5 or so minutes.
