doesn't the 8.25 use side adjusters? You're in for some fun with the carrier bearings + shims I think. As long as it's an HP d30, you don't have to worry about a crush sleeve on the pinion at least, I believe some of the LP d30s used a crush sleeve though... not sure where I read that.

EDIT: yeah sorry Rob, wish I'd been able to find the info for the flexplate in my parts catalog when I checked last time, didn't realize the torque converter and flex plate stuff was in the section for the crankshaft till yesterday, I was looking in the transmission section when I checked for you.

Yeah the 8.25 uses these stupid little threaded adjusters. It's easy but annoying and time consuming at the same time.

I've just been staying out of that thread because I have no real input. I'm pretty sure the local trails he's talking about are illegal but as I don't know the area I am not opening my mouth, I figure one of the guys who lives around there and has solid info should be the one to do that.

i needed transportation pronto last summer. and i wanted a bike. so i got a bike. it's a small loan and will be paid off by june/july. mostly to boost credit.

That's pretty much exactly what I was going to do but ended up buying a cheap used bike instaed. I REALLY wish I did that when I needed transportation instead of buying my altima... lesson learned.

I feel the same way, I find no reason to flame but I do enjoy watching people puff out the cyber-chest. Even I can be a 250lb MMA fighter behind a computer screen.

Do they still have the cafeteria about in the middle of building 13whatever? I used to eat lunch there / right outside there every day.

I worked there in summer 2006. I was an intern with a group in... probably 1351. Lived over in Hamilton on Buena Vista Drive.

oh wow, that's pretty much where I was. Might have been the second floor though. I was over in the lab most of the time, I don't even know if I had a cube assigned to me.
