i wanted to ride my bike to work today but it's still unregistered :( i need to get on that.

I was saying the same thing but legally speaking mine isn't registered either. Not that lack of registration or inspection ever stopped me from riding before... I always consider having last years stickers on my plate a normal thing early in the season and my first year riding I never got inspected. :laugh3:

Only reason I am not riding today is that I was too lazy to pull the bike out of the shed. I plan on doing so tonight and riding over the wkend. Cant wait :D:D:D Anyone know any good roads to ride and care to meet up somewhere?

i pulled mine out yesterday and hosed her down. i had to get the other side of my barn to open too. i don't think it's been opened in a couple years.

Yeah, during dinner last night my father mentioned that he was surprised I wasn't out riding. I told him I would love to but planned on pulling it out tonight, checking out the tire pressure/fluids, going for a quick ride, and leaving it out for the wkend (speaking of which I should do an oil change on it while it's out). When I got home from work last night I was exhausted for some reason and had no motivation to take it out. I really need to get one of those bike tent things to keep it in so I don't have to deal with pulling the bike out of the shed every time I want to go for a ride (especially a "problem" when I am leaving for work in the AM)

I feel like I should make a new thread about trying to get a motorcycle riders of NAC ride going this wkend, or just a Jeep/motorcycle meet and greet type of thing.

I keep forgetting you work on a military base, I was gonna suggest you just ride it anyways but I suspect that wouldn't fly. I did that with my MJ for a few weeks right before I switched to my new insurance company (was still with my old company and not sure if I was staying), it made me the safest, most law abiding driver in the state.

with my luck, i would wreck my uninsured, unregistered bike on a loan if i did that.

Loan on a bike? Not something I will ever do. Motorcycle = toy. Toy = something I will only buy if I can afford it with cash. Actually that's a lie, I was thinking about taking out a loan but then decided to be cheap and buy a $1100 motorcycle, that was the best decision I have made.

And I got into work at 8:15, my boss was already in (which is VERY rare for him to be in before me). By 8:30 he already said "today has all the signs of a dead day" and was talking about leaving early. Maybe I will actually be able to leave early enough to stop by baystate and get the Jeep during normal business hours today :roflmao:

i needed transportation pronto last summer. and i wanted a bike. so i got a bike. it's a small loan and will be paid off by june/july. mostly to boost credit.

Anyone know of a website that has a write up on instailling gears on a d30? I've already done the 8.25 before and it's pretty dang easy.
