THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You can whine about the styling all you want. Mopar knew how to kick dick.

Now for some awesome pics...

Hemi Under Glass (wish I was around for this)

Sox & Martin (again same thing) - Ronnie Sox was (and arguably still is since his death) king of the 4-spd.

Big Daddy - no explanation needed. If you don't know who he is, you're retarded.

I bet the soldering on the PCB in that thing would make me :puke: but damn, nice price

Yeah, that's why I got it. I am sure it's not great and apparently the documentation is poor compared to other ones on the market.. but with some knowledge of automotive wiring it's a simple install or so some of the reviews say.

The fact that I don't have power locks at all means I don't have to worry about how it wires up. I just get to figure everything out from the start

just saw this on another forum:

i don't mean to piss colin (or others off) but the dodge styling never completely did it for me. i like it, but i tend to like GM lines better. but this one looks sweet. i usually think murdered out is dumb too. this one just pulls it off.
Soooo nice.

That is actually one of my least favorite years of the cuda.

'67-71 is pretty much it.

favorite muscle car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_Pacer

it's I6 powered!!1

In all seriousness though, I like the look of the old Mustangs, however I prefer more utilitarian vehicles.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My mom had one... she had to turn the air conditioning off to maintain highway speed when going uphill. She loved it because it was like driving a fishbowl, apparently. She got rid of it when it became more like driving a Flintstones car.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Personally, this one is way better.

Cars like these are the reason why that if I walk into a conversation about cars I always comment- "I don't know shit about cars but if I weren't a truck guy I would be a Mopar guy. All I know is they kick dick and look offensive."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

One day I'm going to build willys truck rat rod. All I know about it is it's going to have a big block, 3 speed, and straight axles. I will die during it's test run.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You should put about 20 Pinto gas tanks on it then and fill them up so it's a Viking funeral.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i want a 1970 challenger or cuda.. T/A or AAR decals, and a either a slant 6 or 318 turbo motor.

hehehe.

You're too slow.

Some guys in one of the latest mopar mags at my house took a 318, stroked it, slapped a centrifugal supercharger on it and without much tuning achieved 630 hp at somewhere around 6k rpms. Pulled similar numbers 3 times in a row so it's fairly reliable.

mmm

i love the hemi and 440 obv, but i'd wanna make a lightweight street machine and a fast revving small block or 6 with a 20 lbs shot into it... mmm

or just build a 340. but this is waaaayyy down the road. like, when i have money and live in california where rust free bodies are everywhere.

This is why we can speak the same language and share abnormal amounts of vacuum nachos topped with twinkie sauce.

'70 Duster factory 340 4-spd waiting in my driveway for my father and I to start working on it.

:D

I wonder if we should 6-pk it...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

who the hell am i kidding, i need to finish my jeep before i even start daydreaming about muscle cars.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I am and have always been a fan of mopar. But one car I still want to build for some reason is (as I said before) a 5.0 engine from a late model fox body into a 71-ish mustang fastback.

But that's just because I got my heart set on doing that as a kid when I saw my aunts old stang and thought I might be able to pick it up cheap.

And right now I would love an AMC eagle. That would be badass and they can be found pretty cheap. Just because a charger wouldn't fit my budget quite as well :laugh3: and the others I want to build are just as much out of my budget. :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Maybe I should see if my dad want's to fire up the Duster this weekend and make a list of stuff to fix...(technically his car - his name is on the title)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That Duster will kick dicks. Not kick dick. kick dicks.
