the top of the Sears Tower moves about 3-4 feet off center.

holy christ. I just watched the jet engine I helped build in operation. That thing is scary, doubly so because the total budget was under 200 dollars... it's mostly built out of a SAAB turbocharger, an old power steering pump, a free leaf blower to spool it up to operating speed, and a huge gangle of wiring and spark plug and whatnot plus a propane tank and a burn chamber built out of autozone exhaust components, home depot air compressor fittings, and bits of scrap metal.

I was afraid the turbo was going to grenade and throw bits of turbine blade everywhere, but stuck within two feet of it oiling it with a can of WD-40 as it ran...

a friend of mine has something very similar in his garage...

yeah. i ordered last night.

5X forged joint with 5/8" bore, injection molded cup things, and RH 1.25-12 threaded shank
5X RH 1.25-12 jam nuts
5X RH 1.25-12 tube adapters for 1.5" ID DOM
1X joint adjuster tool
1X DOM sleeve with poly bushings (for the 2nd tranny mount on the D300)

i tried a few different codes for discount for forums... found one that got 5%.

all said and done i paid $415 shipped.

yeah i'll be pissed too. but i want the parts. i expect to see them in 2-3 weeks, based on others' experiences.
