THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A few years back I was thinking about making myself a cowl hood... Everetts wanted $100 for a hood. Idk if their prices have dropped but That killed those plans immediately. Either that or I got some schmo who gave me a "we pull it" price... even though I was asking in person with a toolbox in hand :gee:
paid 75 for my damn near spotless (till I installed it anyways) hood for my MJ a few weeks ago.

It was perfect till I had to drill some pop rivets out and overshot because I was too lazy to get the drill bit depth collars from a friend's place 3 miles away :hang: so now it has some tiny little bumps with slight paint cracking in one spot.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You can have my comanche hood for free. It has rust bubbling but you'll probably cut that out for a cowl.

Sweet! Though since that time I have got some of those ZJ 5.9 limited hood vents; still trying to figure out placement. May or may not still be doing a cowl hood.

And for anyone who may know... is it just me or is there a dirt track (dirtbikes, quads, etc) in a sand pit just of Glebe street in Taunton? I am looking at a house literally 1 mile from the center of that street and having a trail/track would be badass. :D

Problem being it was in my price range... then I found out it failed septic and the estimate is REAL high compared to what I was expecting. Gotta go take a look this wkend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ross, this is a warning.

I have the capability of 220 in my garage right now through the use of an extension cord. I will most likely wire up 220 into my garage this weekend when I'm down there. (I know this is your current argument for keeping it)

Hurry up and use the TIG, because its coming home very soon. (i.e. within a month)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm going house shopping this weekend. Looking at 2 places and hopefully a couple others that my parents have seen around.

yup. i've been looking at other doubler kits and stuff. seems like a lot of them use 1/2" aluminum, but i bought 3/8" steel. not a big deal really, but i'm now trying to decide how i want to hold the back end of the shift rail in the 231. most kits just have bored out hole. hmmmm... we'll see.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis, is anyone else from NAXJA in DWE? I want to go to a meeting but dont wanna be alone. Me is skerred not having any friends.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no, not really. Colin/Bill/Rob and maybe a couple others I'm forgetting were talking about going to this meeting so maybe they'll speak up either way to let you know...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I PM'd him.

Would anyone actually be interested in wheeling the gutter on Sunday?

Whoever wants to come feel free, cause I think only one person has confirmed attending from FTR.

If there's more interest then I might actually go.

nope! .!.:D.!.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

To be honest I'd be fine with wheeling the Gutter but A) Jeep isn't inspected yet(and it won't be by this weekend, I don't have $$ to pay anyone off ), and B) I'm going to a party for Mia's brother on Saturday night and getting hammerfaced so I doubt I'd be able to get up to go wheeling on Sunday hah. If the Jeep was inspected I probably would try though. And yeah, I'd let you wheel it :kissyou:

...if that's not a showing of trust, I don't know what is :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm pretty sure I'm going. So far I havnt heard of any plans that have been made for me. Gotta love when moms and sisters make plans for you...

I'd love to but I'm snowboarding all day Saturday and then probably driving up to Sugarloaf late sunday night after my roommate gets out of work for a few days of riding the epic pow pow
