my take on ax-15 (or nv4500) vs aw4: geared lower, easier to rebuild, and for god's sakes, offroading is a SPORT. it's even more of a sport when you have extra levers/handles to control.

I broke one It usually thinks it's a three speed now and the torque converter lockup is REALLY unhappy.

It is truly unfortunate that reply #33333 on this thread will not be on page 2222.

He is asking an absurd amount of money.

His do have full case selectable lockers and alloy shafts. Either way though, a D35 is a D35.

alloys break to, seen em on a 35 break inside the locker makin it impossible to swap the shafts on the trail

im proud to say ive never seen a d35 on a trail before

seen a lot on the trail only one in person break, he had a trailer, one i talked ablout break inside the locker is a diff one, ive personally blown up one, on the street, locked up after leaving the driveway, nice combo of pinion bearings and spider gears

What time do these DWE meets happen? I live right down the street from Domenic's and I'd be interested in joining.

7pm-?? usually just go there for about 630ish and talk for a bit, then talk business for a while, upcoming events/issues etc, then BS for awhile til everyone leaves, usually like 8 or 9 I guess. I'm not going next week, can't get the night off work. Hardly ever can :rattle:
