I suppose that is also an option; though part of me would still opt for the 8.8. That is what I would have done if I didn't have a 9" show up for sale right when I decided to start shopping. Though I stll ended up dropping a few hundred into the 9" before it was good to go. (well, I am currently in the process of dropping a few hundred into it)Nah I'm just going to do it once and do it right. 4.88's in my d30 and 8.25. There's no point in me buying new axles just to regear them come fall.

Jeff is the f*cking man!
He so graciously went out of his way on Sunday to drive to his store, and meet me there so I could get a part and get my Briarwood up and running again.
I needed to replace the steering shaft in the Blairwitch because I was having some problems with my steering. I had some slop, and it was hard to turn the wheel every once and a while, then it would just all of a sudden get easy again. The u-joint on the box end was loose as hell, and had at least a 1/16th to 1/8th inch of play in it. Upon getting it off, the other u-joint was pretty much frozen stiff.
I then noticed that it was not the same shaft I had gotten off Travis, and knew it was way too toasted to even get back in. Jeff was so kind to go in so I could get the part, and now the jeep drives amazing.
Thanks again Jeff.
