I should build a Jeep Speed rig for a daily driver. My roads around here are about as bad as the desert where they actually race. I do love the ground effects kits laying on the sides of the road though.

I used to love watching the idiot tuners rip their ziptied-on non-painted or badly peeling (eh? surface prep? why do that?) body mod kits off as they drove over the 2" tall metal edge on the pit in the quicklube I worked at. Then they'd get all bent out of shape about it... I'm like "dude... here is a handful of zipties... put that crap back on in the parking lot out back when you leave"

I think everyone in MA (not on here) needs to stop being such f*cking p*ssies about the snow storm today.

HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN SNOW BEFORE? Its not the end of the world. People are already going home from work, and all that other crap, and worried about the snow. There is not even a dusting on the ground, there is nothing.

No kidding. I think it's because most of them can't seem to figure out how to drive in it. The rest are afraid of being run over by the ones that can't figure it out.

I have no problem with snow unless the place where I work plows the parking lot and plows me in behind a wall of snow (I have the car). Then I got a problem.

I have been told I can head out whenever but I got too much stuff to get done. I am hoping to get most of it done by 2:30 at the latest. I haven't been able to see out a window in the past few hours at least but I heard it's snowing :dunno:

Edit: I may have to join the beer-o'clock crew once I do head out though. Stop by the bar for a beer and late lunch (I haven't had time to take lunch yet); then stop by the packie for a 6 pack or maybe a 12.. or maybe some scotch... or bourbon... or something on the way home.

I know, all my friends have had their classes cancelled at 4 year colleges, my community school where you have to drive there is still open. I've also been watching school bus' dropping kids off so clearly they got out early today. We just broke the inch mark and I can still see bare patches in my driveway. This is rediculous!

ah. didn't realize that.


i just brought my tranny and all other parts upstairs. i pressed in the 2 seals before i came up. by pressed i mean hit with dead blow until fully seated. and i'm totally going to have to clean my keyboard later. my fingers are not clean
