...yikes!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so i've pretty much decided, that if i don't get the full compression in the 7100s i want to lower the lower front shock mounts, kind of like this:

100_1601.jpg

this should be able to balance out the necessary bracket to be able to run the heim joints on the top of the shock.

...... Ross (and Mark's TIG) or anyone else, want to help out with this sometime soon, after the shocks come in and I figure out exactly where to put them? There's beer in it for you!

Oh god.

Sadly, I've seen worse... and fixed worse... which was illegal as I am not a licensed electrician. I figured since I was doing it to code (for real) it wouldn't really be an issue though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

haha, that's after i cleaned it some, too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

should i be concerned that i was able to pull my old carrier bearings off my spool by hand?

i was gettin it in the vice to take the ring gear off and it just... separated. bearing didn't spin or anything. the axle has maybe 25k miles and over 2 years on it since the rebuild. and everything else is minty fresh.

i did put the bearings in the toaster to aid in installing them due to lack of a press however

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i want a 300. a 231 mated to a 300 seems to be the easiest/cheapest.
