Not really unless you are picky like me and also want it water tight.
Just time consuming is all. It isn't really hard work if you pre-plan your cuts.

watertight is the only way to do it. do it right or STFU.

and bill, even though you preplanned your cuts, you still had to go back a few times.

Oh I really want it caged ASAP, have no doubt. BUT, $ is a bitch, and is my enemy. Also, it's a time thing too. I want to be able to save up for the tubing etc, and also want to have rocker replacements done before having the downtime involved with doing the cage.

Yeah I would over prepare myself for a few months before hand. And I would weld the entire rear hatch solid so it w(sh)ouldn't leak. I think it looks good when done right and blended but I'm not sure I actually have the talent for that kind of body work.

you buy the toob, get someone to show up with a bender, and i can vouch that i'll bring my welder and grinder up for a day. we could get that biach caged fast if a few of us showed up welding and grinding. that thing is just too pretty to let you make it look like the green jeep

The only thing I put in the back is my spare, tools, and snowboards. I can put the boards on top, pre runner tire carrier in the "bed" and tools... maybe one of those metal toolboxs that trucks have. But I don't think it'll ever happen unless I flop it.

If I actually wheeled it more than I do now it would have some scares but it barely makes it off road... I was planning on building it to the point where I can be sure it was going to leave me stranded in the woods before I did anything too tough with it.
