ugh I want them so bad. and those 5125s are a super steal also. Definitely if you end up selling them let me know first please. I would have scooped them right away but I want to be sure that I'm 100% squared away with Sean before I go buying anything...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

like i said. if you dont' use em...i got dibs :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, that's why I am interested in getting the OK from him. As soon as it gets a bit warmer Ill fix the clutch cable on the bike, fire up the chainsaw/weedwacker, and start forging a path into the woods to see if a Jeep woudl even fit out there.

I used to hit a trail in Hanson a few years back (had a sign up saying public welcome and everything) but they gated it. Gotta figure out who owns the land and give them a call... I blame the guys with big trucks who went and tore up the paths out there. Actually met one guy who said he "came out to get hit truck a little muddy".... no interest in wheeling, just wanted to get his massive F150 dirty. :(

Edit: So I got surprisingly little sh*t when I said I need to borrow the parents SUV tomorrow night and over the weekend... then when I was asked why I said to buy tires.. 2 sets :D My father just asked why since I had those new ones on the Jeep they are 4 years old now, got plenty of miles on them... he somehow thought I had like 10k miles on them in 4+ years :dunno: (granted only 3 years of driving the XJ)
Let me know, I have a chainsaw I haven't used since the M&G at Lobster's place!

why is it when screamin deals come up im broke and when i got money nother cool is for sale
I know the feeling... either that or something important kicks me in the balls and I have to drop money on it instead of buying fun stuff. And then I find out I could have spent a lot less money on the broken stuff as usual if timing had just been slightly off! lol

Speaking of which, I was annoyed on my way home from work today and dropped the hammer quite a few times on 290, did 93mph on the new tires with my still-blown (maybe?) transmission, only flaked out a little bit, felt like the torque converter was sporadically unlocking. Everything else was rock solid though, it rides and steers better with new 33s and toe-in adjusted than it did with worn 32s and some goofy amount of toe-in, and my death wobble appears to be completely gone as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

awesome

Oh man, I thought they were stock XJ seats. I need some stock ones for my rear bucket swap. Sad face
I would offer you my stock XJ seats if you bought me the miata seats, but theres a couple problems with that. First I got a 2 seater so the seats need to fold forward (at least one of them does) and 2nd my buckets dont match... one is from a 2 dr and one is from a 4 dr with the extra side support and all.

the miata seats both fold forward, you'd just have to fold the seat forward then slide the base forward, instead of having both motions done simultaneously as with a 2dr...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Would that have happened in a CTD?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

tonythetiger734 (9:37:20 PM): so much for having a non-XXXXed up DD

tonythetiger734 (9:37:35 PM): that wouldn't have happened in a CTD [SIZE=+0]

MoparManiacCuda (9:37:41 PM): LOL

MoparManiacCuda (9:37:55 PM): yeah that sucks dude

MoparManiacCuda (9:38:38 PM): i have shitty ball joints/track bar though...

MoparManiacCuda (9:38:41 PM): does that make you feel better?

tonythetiger734 (9:40:51 PM): umm.. let me think

tonythetiger734 (9:40:53 PM): no not really

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it's obviously true!

Wait what? the 2 dr seats are supposed to automatically move forward? Mine dont do that

So if you want XJ buckets out back I have a couple as long as you want to pay for me to get some miata seats :D Like I said, they don't match.... but you would have the ability to fold one of the 2 flat so you could get the extra storage space (I want to do rear buckets in my rig as well but I need 2 door seats in back so I can fold them flat to move bigger stuff
