THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

zomg is in the eastern half of the state! i'd be game
yeah, that's why I am interested in getting the OK from him. As soon as it gets a bit warmer Ill fix the clutch cable on the bike, fire up the chainsaw/weedwacker, and start forging a path into the woods to see if a Jeep woudl even fit out there.

I used to hit a trail in Hanson a few years back (had a sign up saying public welcome and everything) but they gated it. Gotta figure out who owns the land and give them a call... I blame the guys with big trucks who went and tore up the paths out there. Actually met one guy who said he "came out to get hit truck a little muddy".... no interest in wheeling, just wanted to get his massive F150 dirty. :(

Edit: So I got surprisingly little sh*t when I said I need to borrow the parents SUV tomorrow night and over the weekend... then when I was asked why I said to buy tires.. 2 sets :D My father just asked why since I had those new ones on the Jeep they are 4 years old now, got plenty of miles on them... he somehow thought I had like 10k miles on them in 4+ years :dunno: (granted only 3 years of driving the XJ)

I know. I don't have $$$ either :( otherwise those 7100s would totally be going on the red Jeep. I was gonna offer 200 shipped with no mounts for them but realistically I can't even swing that for at least another week, and they'll definitely be gone by then

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I know I have seen pics before but for some reason I can't find any... anyone know what those 3 spoke wheels (black and brushed colors) that kinda swirl are called.. I thought they were called hurricane wheels or something... kinda like these: http://www.bossatvracing.com/images/parts/banshee%20front%20tri-swirl.jpg but only the same because of the overall shape. Does anyone have any clue what I am talking about? :laugh3:

ugh, i gotta stop looking at those 37" trepadores for sale. those would be SOOO sweet with the tons. thank god i dont have that much cash on hand right now, otherwise id be buying them instantly. i guess i should be logical and buy parts i actaully need first to get the axles under the jeep.

focus on gettin the axles and jeep done, tires should be last, if a set so happens to come up for sale and you have the money then buy

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thats what I told myself too... now I got some LTBs lined up... then i realized those are bias and then some trxus MTs just conveniently appeared in my web browser. :dunno: I am spending $800 on 2 full (spare included) sets of wheels/tires this week. awesome! Now I just gotta find someone to buy my old wheels/tires to make a bit of that back.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hey Travis, what are you doing with the front seats in your green jeep?

I dunno. Unless someone wanted to buy em I was just going to hold onto them. If I were to sell them I'd want $120 for the pair, cause I still haven't paid my friend for them when I took em out of his Miata
