Is it bad that I'm already tempted to mod my truck?

I'm going to try and fix the airbag compressor this weekend, that way I can buy an ARB for the rear. Only problem with this is...if I want to step up to H2 takeoffs then I'll prob want 3.91s - 4.10s...and right now I have 3.54s. The carrier break is at 3.73 for a D80.

Also going to get the 3 pod a-pillar gauge with isspros (FP, EGT, and boost) and then get some factory tow hooks for the front.

i went to HF for the first time today. some of the stuff is terrible. some of it is a huge bargain.

Limp-in mode for 30mi = I ran out of gas 60mi early. Figured I'd try the emergency gas can before yanking the alt and whaddya know it started right up.

i went to HF for the first time today.

its quiet an experience, huh? i remember walking around and my dad was like hey check out these cheap welders. words cannot express my anger towards them


i wanna know how they are able to make even the simplest things suck? i bought an anvil from them, FIRST hit with a hammer and i dented it.

how do you screw up making an anvil? :dunno:

they had some cheap vises... i'm going to hold off though. there's a huge vice in my basement. too bad it's missing the bolt in the center... so i just cranked the bolt on the side down haha.

i bought $40 worth of grinder, cutoff wheels, and flapper disks... they had 24 grit flappers. i bought them just for kicks. if they work well, sweet. if not, i only wasted $2.47

A damn good question.


i spent $40 on just cutoff wheels on my last trip. the seem to have the cheapest source of cutoff wheels, ill usually score my flap wheels cheaper at auto shows.

Yeah I love their angle grinder wheels and stuff, so cheap. Their 2 ton engine hoist is nice too, and it's on sale for some goofy low price.

nice piece, i would of used counter sunk bolts though, id also make the cnter emoveable like Claytons in case you ever have to do trans or tcase workcc

Would you guys say the harmonic balancer and fan are really close in this picture?

this is the 2nd belt in 2 weeks that has skipped groves on the balancer.

No, i actually think its the harmonic balancer, because it seems really far away from the engine.
