yeah, but i'll get RI taxes back... I haven't switched because I'm just renting for now. We'll see. I keep thinking about doing it.

not yet. Planning on doing so tonight. I need to head home early to pick up the new front seal for my new transmission and start installing it anyways.

Speaking of which - anyone got a garage, shanty, anything with a hard floor and a roof (walls optional) that I could borrow for a bit? I will supply mass quantities of beer or money. I just really don't feel like swapping a transmission in a snowstorm in 5" of snow and slush in my driveway.

EDIT: Anthony, don't the polls close at 8? Drive on up!

Agreed, Kennedy (never thought I'd say that name in a positive light...) is the best IMO, but looking at his polling numbers he has absolutely no chance. I'm going to feel like a huge hypocrite voting but :dunno:

Not yet, had to get into work this morning asap to get some stuff done and fix problems that our customer made. Planning on heading out early if possible, but def will be tonight as long as I am registered. I THINK I registered, but I don't know for sure. Will figure that out later.

Define "borrow for a bit" and when would you need it? If you can make it down to my place I could probably negotiate to have the garage available this coming weekend. Hard floors, walls, heat, and a lack of snow/slush.:thumbup:

christy mihos will be running for govenor and supports the PUBLIC using public land for motorized recreation. or so i've heard.

Sadly not going to work :( I'd likely need it for 4-5 hours (gotta drop AW4+231+crossmember+driveshafts, stick it all back in, line it up, bolt the torque converter on, fill with fluid, etc.) Problem is that I need it either tonight or tomorrow night, hopefully tonight. I can't make it more than 15-20 miles without either seriously babying it along at 50mph or causing 3rd gear to slip so badly it goes into limp-in mode and won't shift out of 1st. I think I'm gonna shovel out my parking space and throw down a tarp or two and hope for the best, or maybe bribe the valvoline guys to let me use their shop once they run out of customers or something, I dunno.

:yelclap: I would too (who is running? Kennedy looks pretty close to being a libertarian, though he's listed as independent) but for once it looks like I'm going to be a hypocrite.
