THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I hit 110+ coming back from Providence Place Mall with a broken sway bar link on my old red 2-dr.

I lifted a tire going around the S-curve and almost rolled.

I nearly soiled myself.

You nearly soil yourself often, must be the position of the XJ seats...or your diet.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i run bb's in my LTBs. if i didn't there would be issues going faster than say 25mph.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

With my boggers i run nothing for balancing. I can go 70 no problem. After 70 it starts getting hairy.

My Baha radial MTX's were balanced before I bought them and are still fine now. not sure where they were balanced but where-ever it was did a good job. Walmart balanced my generals that I got (30s) and they were fine until I gave them away once I upgraded. Nissan sucks, they told me that balancing the tires is a 15,000 mile maintenance thing and mine were out of balance because I exceeded that and had like 30k miles since balancing them. :bs: They didn't like it when I told them my Jeep which I beat on had tires that were nicely balanced for 40k+ miles and still going strong.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

when walmart balanced my new tires a few weeks ago, 3 of them did great. Balanced pretty easily. The last one took enough lead to fight a few wars. We looked at it and it looks like the rim is slightly warped, can't return it because it's already had a tire mounted on it, so I'll just live with it I guess.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

He was talking about the fact that he needs new tires and that BMW wants to charge him like $200+ for mounting and balancing them (they are run flats so apparently are harder to do.

$200 is ridiculous for mounting and balancing. Runflat rims don't make it THAT much harder.

Idk. He said that BMW wanted like $900 to mount/balance/etc. He looked up the tires on tirerack and IIRC he said they were like $170 or so per tire. So I wouldn't be surprised if BMW is just charging him a lot more than that for the tires.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i ran metal bb's in mah 32" kumhos, prolly didnt need anything

i ran airsoft in mah 35" xterrains, prolly didnt need em'

i ran nothing with my 37" boggers and they sucked nuts, then i ran over a car at 40 mph and one tire was all of a sudden 63 ounces off and REALLY sucked

i ran nothing with my 37" creepy crawlers and they were friggin amazing

i ran nothing in my 36" tsls and they were oval shaped, so i put like 2 lbs of bb's in em and they still rode like they were egg shaped, so i sold them

i ran nothing in my iroks and they were bearable, not great, but rode nice at certain speeds

i run nothing with my 35" km2's and they are perfect

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need to start tire shopping. Off to find some cheap used 36's!

Edit: Er, I should probably wait a while before I do that. At least until my next paycheck is in since I am dropping well over half a check to get regeared soon.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

rev limiters kick ass, espcially when doin burnouts:D

top speeds are fun too, goin downhill you can get a few more mph's outta a xj

balancing tires is overrated

party at colins on saturday

that is all
