hey, that's a mkv gti he's humping

ross/colin: i think i could weld it myself... want to try anyway. we could do it at ross's house probably... what tube do you have that we could sleeve it with? if it happens to be 1.75 OD, i'd like to try to put a bend it it with a tube bender (beacuse most people seem to have the 1.75" dies) to clear my diff cover a little better... that might be asking too much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i've been listening to 2 pac on my lunch break so i'm in the zone

Crap, I've been listening to ODB to prepare myself. I guess i'm not going to rhyme that well but atleast I can capitalize on being offensive.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Really? :(

I was always a fan of the remotes. Or sometimes proximity... until I forgot where they were :gee:

Edit: things that really piss me off. That guy with the MJ completely forgot about me. Then I started emailing him again and asked for pics & gave my cell number so he could picture mail me some photos.. I never heard back (only emailed him 2 nights ago or yesterday morning, cant remember). Just got an email that he sold it this morning. After I told him that want it and told him I have a trailer to pick it up. Asshat. I'm only pissed because I have been talking to him since mid December about it. Normally I would just accept it as "someone got there before me".. oh well, life goes on.

Huh. Was wondering why my checking account was getting so low...

:smsoap: damn jeep :smsoap:

I guess buying rims, tires, a few home depot trips, junkyard, diff covers, and recovery gear would cause that.

EDIT: Scott - yeah, I hate it when people pull that kind of stuff.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm having a super productive day at work. depending on where i'm at when it's time to leave (at 1545) i might just stay late.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

screw rap. i'm listening to lamb of god.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Same, I am pretty sure I have found two bugs today... in either the code or the test infrastructure. I'll find out as soon as the test guys email me back.

Now I just have to get my monthly report written and I'm good to go...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that's part of why the adjuster broke... it bent from hitting the diff cover.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if I don't wind up at some job across the country that starts right as I graduate, I'll definately come to NAC fest this year. I have a phone interview on Friday with Schlumberger as a field engineer, so hopefully that goes well. If I'm still in the NAC by then, count me IN!

Some people just don't want to deal with people from a distance and just wont tell you.

The after redoing the Briarwood's cooling system, (replaced all heater hoses, radiator hoses, stock style water pump, and stock 195* t-stat) it is running too cold now. I think the thermostat either sucks, or is stuck open, something along those lines.

It was at about 150-160* the entire drive here, every time I was at a light it would start going up, then would drop right back down as soon as I started driving again. It finally got to 190-200 when I was pulling into work today, 30 minutes after I left my parking garage.

How is the temp. inside? I just had a similar issue because the heater core was plugged up. I actually pulled the return hose from the heater core off while the XJ was running and nothing came out. It showed a cooler temp because it wasn't moving.

i will actually be at nac-fest again this year

I am so there. When is it? I'm ready already. I'm even packed for Fall Crawl.

Sweet plan boys. Are you wheeling or just riding Anthony?

anddd...I still need my $2000 loan, guys... ;) :kissyou:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

 I listen to a lot of metal at work, makes the day go by a lot faster. Speaking of NACfest (well a few pages ago), you wanna do a beer swap like we were gonna do last year? That is, if you're going...
i listen to techno/edm/musical. i find myself singing to words too often. that stuff serves as good background noise and eliminates unwanted background noise. i have one hell of a weird cube-mate.
