Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

do they let 2WD xj's in?:dunno:
I think so, it doesn't even say it has to be an XJ actually :anon:

My XJ is 4wd until I get to a point where I really need 4wd, at which point it becomes 2wd... one on the front axle and one on the rear :o

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

should i enter all 3 of my Jeeps in ROTM

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ya know, sometimes I think my mother lives in a parallel dimension. Anything that makes sense to me (or my father, or anyone that is normal) makes no sense to her it seems.

I was taking a power nap before working on the Jeep and have an alarm set for 6:15. So she just got home and knocked on my door and came in & asked if I was resting. I said yes, which to most people would probably imply that I will talk to them later and would prefer to keep resting for now. Not with her. She just came in and sat down talking to me about dinner and where my brother is, then just sat there and didn't leave for like 5-10 min. She always does that. If I am awake she sometimes comes in, talks, adn then leaves. But she always seems to find a way to know what days (and when) I am taking a half hour nap after work, wake me up after 10 min, and then spend 10 min just sitting and saying one thing ever 2-3 minutes. :flamemad:

:scared:

you ever find the caps etc? or is the joint/driveshaft toast?

it was only pulling out of the garage and into the driveway, i pulled the shaft as the ujoints are toast and the shaft is not resuable so im taking the yj slip yoke off it to put on another driveshaft with new ujoints, but im keepin the old drive shaft with crap ujoints and puttin on a crap yj slip yoke for a crappy spare driveshaft

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ummmm.. arent NP231's supposed to take 2 quarts of fluid...

...why did mine only take like 1.2 quarts before being full :wierd:

...Or is there another fill plug that I am forgetting, The fill plug is right in the middle of the back, just down to the left from the rear output, right?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, it's a 30mm hex head iirc... the same as the drain plug. If you pulled something else out it might have been the retainer for the end of the shift fork slide bar or whatever it's called.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah, it was the 30mm right there in the middle :dunno: Oh well, who knows. I have always filled from that hole up until now and the T-case worked OK, so looks like I have a high efficiency T-case that takes minimal fluid

Anyway, got my registration and insurance a little while ago. Bolting in my passenger seat and taking the Jeep to go get a pizza. Yay snow! :D:D:D

Anyway, Ken, you still thinking about heading to Everetts tomorrow AM? Give me a call tomorrow if you are (or just tell me here, guess that works too). 781-608-3555

Will do, I'm almost definitely going. Planning to roll into the yard around 10am, might end up being later
